They want you to want that emblem cause thats free advertising and flooding twitch with it all. Its not a timer, its a delay, and not added, it was there from the start, the stream won't show up on Bungie.net until 5-10 minutes after you start streaming.

Its not something that was done with any purpose, its just twitch itself is on a delay, and Bungie.net has to ackowledge the twitch stream, then confirm with its own server if you're actually connected to the game, so it takes five to ten minutes before the site goes "Oh shit! Someone is streaming!"

Pretty much this. 4 impact without Braced is worse than a godroll 7 impact. Since Waltz can't get Braced it's worse by default.
The reason 4 impacts are the meta right now is because they're the best at short and midrange, and still useable at long range.
If you don't land all your headshots at midrange already, which you won't with CB+PB, it's worse than PDX, Hawksaw or MIDA by default.

Have you ever used a godroll waltz? Its basically a clever with worse handling stats but literally the same AA and stability.
It still wastes a perk to get that which is why CD is better. But perdition still has more kick, worse dps, and less AA with a shittier scope.
Its a strong 4 but still king outside of the top pulse archetype.

It doesn't have the same stability, as it can't roll braced, which is my entire point.
The same applies to Blind Perdition. It has HiCal, but it has wider spread than both Hawksaw and PDX. The ranking is CD>Grasp>PDX=Hawksaw>Waltz>Perdition
Waltz in this case has PB CB HiCal.
HiCal is nice and all, but not having max stability will just make you miss headshots ad mid and long range, increasing TTK.
