As for alliance I can't tell because there are utists everywhere but it should be obvious thet least pleasant experience you are going to have is male nelf > worgens and pandas > male gnomes > female dwarves > male dwarves (only if tanking). Rest of races it just inflated with bunch of bads and actual shitters and is always a hit or miss on every rare day that I actually decide to play my ally alt.

Get your frames set up so you can see what is going on AND the state of your party.

Make sure to get something that shows debuffs clearly, specifically things you need to dispel. Oh, and actually dispel those things.

Try to heal for incoming damage, not start healing when you see someone take it.

Its okay for tanks to not be at 100% HP. BRM in particular.

if people take damage, you heal them

have a rough priority order of spells in your head, use the ones with long cast times or with little effect for when there's not a whole lot of damage being taken, mana consuming stuff when people are dying

use cooldowns on special stuff from bosses, like large aoe damage, and don't be stingy with them they should be up next fight

remember when your group fucks up, keep the tank and yourself alive the rest can either walk in again or look out for themselves a bit

also don't stop paying attention to yourself and your positioning just because you're stressed out trying to keep people up and running, i've had trouble because i've been neglecting myself a lot as healer
