it's not about handling the pressure. there are undeniably people who just can't lead, but if we abstract from player qualities and talk about roles themselves, speaking from my experience on leadership on a serious level of pvp, leading is about knowledge of surroundings, setups, current situation, calculation of odds and prediction of enemy leader moves.
healer has to watch for bars, enemy disruptors, status effects and if we are talking about _good_ healers predict bursts, doing that along with leadership role on top complicates both.
dps have their own tasks, mainly dependent on their type and setup, some are more suited for pvp leadership, some are not - not going to go in detail here, ain't matter for this one.
tank(initiator\tackler\disruptor) on the other hand has inherent role bonus on leadership: you don't have to rely on other initiator's reaction(in small-scale YOU are the only one), you decide and execute first move/react. tank also has lot less responsibilities that draw attention than healer, so they can focus their mind on higher scale.

in pve it mostly does not matter.

I mean, there's only a few areas where it really makes a huge difference unless you just want to run back through every dungeon in the game multiple times again.

Mainly you should make sure to not do any of the quests from 50-60 as you can get like 6+ quests in every dungeon for that area at the same time. Do a 5town and you just earned 30+ garnets. The 70-90 dungeons are all good for it too. They give you pretty decent gold rewards already and the dungeons are fast and quests are plentiful.

But yeah the low level stuff is whatever. You could definitely make some easy guaranteed money on them if you wait but if it's really annoying you that much I'd say just don't bother. I still haven't gone back and done anything pre-50 on any of my characters.

For reference, garnets are ~6-7 gold each on NA right now, and each quest you complete will give you 1 garnet. Usually you'll have about 2-3 quests per dungeon.

The problen with LF is that it lacks offensive so to play solo decently as LF you must spend a lot of SP on Abyss Walker skills, so SP is super tight compared to other classes and yes that fucking sucks. You may wanna be full support but then why pick LF when Physician and Saint can comfortably heal and contribute with damage?

And the class won't get tweaked until it gets it's Awakening so if you choose LF you are fucked for at least 6 months more.

It's also advised to not really gear your chronicle character too heavily. Normal characters get free strong costume items, mounts, storage space, and a lot more level up boxes than chronicle characters do and they make your life a lot easier aside from having to level them.

Just get the chronicle to 93 for the rewards and the 50% boost and make a new fresh character if you don't want to regret it later.

Though I will say that if you're going to make a chron character and stick with them, guardian/saint would be the ideal classes to do it. They don't need heavy gearing to do anything as they do no damage regardless so the free costumes aren't that needed and everything else is more of a luxury.

Crusader is VERY expensive to gear if you want to dead good damage in pve, it's like a car with only first and 5th gear where with epic/unique grade gear it will do poorly but if you gear it with legendaries it's damage will be one of the highest.
Guardian is the total opposite being really easy and cheap to gear, just pump that hp and you're good to go, hell if you know the rotations you can go naked and just turtle whole time.

It's ok. You got two different levels to level. Explorer and Settler, doing quest and building shit, basically. You go to a randomized isle for quests. You go around and beat up bandits/skeletons, loot their chests in their houses/towns/towers/underground lair. Underground lairs have a boss at the end which drops treasure orbs which you take to a guy to open and it spits out equipments/building recipes/etc depending on what type of orb it was.

You got swords, daggers, axes, spears, war hammer/battle axes. War hammer/battle axe seems to be the best weapon just because it has huge knockback. one hand weapon/shield worked nicely since it seems you can block everything. Maybe not special attacks tho. Speaking of special attacks, you can charge one up when you got a full charge meter, which you build up by landing consecutive attacks. It'll drain if you don't attack for a while and if you get hit. Each weapon's got their own unique charge.

Lack of inventory space is a bitch when you've been running around and looting shit.

It's more of an extended trial than f2p, you're locked to your racial T1 frigate and cruiser hulls and a handful of industrial vessels. This basically does exactly what I'm sure CCP intended: free players exist as cannon fodder for other players, as there are few PVP roles (and no PVE roles) where those hulls will be of much use.

The unintended consequence is probably for experienced players to multi-box a paid character with a free character, i.e. paid character mines/missions and free character hauls loot, paid character flies DPS and free character flies tackle, etc. Used to be only the rich and famous could afford a second account but now you can have one free.

The way the class system worked and how you could allocate points upon leveling up. Also some dungeons drops, relics or maybe trophies, which gives a huge advantage.

One of the things I was looking for gives a %chance to fully heal you for every mob attacked. It's great when you lure every single thing on the map then AoE the shit out of it healing you all the time. Another one had an effect where if you get hit you become immune to damage for a few seconds.

Unless those aren't important anymore people will continue to do dungeons.

Trophies from dungeons were very competitive in comparison to trial trophies at like level 50-65. But after that trophies from other sources blew them out of the water, so you only did dungeons if you were doing awakenings/grinding Alpaca materials/CCM/achievements/collecting trophies.

Here's a comparison, one is from a Guild Boss in an open world dungeon, the other is from a 5 man party dungeon that no-one runs. Despite it being 2 levels higher, it's much worse.

Nowadays if quest rewards last you till 50 and at 50 they give you a set of yellow armour and yellow weps this lasts you till 60, then you get 60 armour and then 70 armour at 70 and then 80 armour at 80, then you're left to fend for yourself.

But when the cap was 50, blues from questing carried me to it, then out came trials and I leeched a bit since everyone in my party had crafted gear, I got some yellows and started to pull my weight.

It depends on what you want to do. Most people just socialize/afk and do other things till PvP time. I used to be really into PvE, but I just got bored of it and focused on PvP, but realistically I can't use up all my trial runs in one day.

When I was level 85, I still needed stuff from level 70/75/80 trials for my collection of yellow weps. I did it purely for OCD but that was 16 trial runs in one day. Each run can easily come up to an hour long. I've had a few take 3 hours. Then there were also S-Trials, that's another 12-15 runs depending on what day it was.

I also had to farm Sky Tower which you could do indefinitely for more gems. I also needed to level up my classes and myself to level 100, so that meant either running myself in this open dungeon where you spam AoE and grind mobs or pay someone to run for you.

Then I had my 0/2s I did in higher level dungeons purely for gold. My daily 4 CP quests for more class levelling.
