Protip, double arc wave is life. It applies the same turn speed penalties as an arc grenade, so just juke around a lot and keep them paralyzed.
Works real good vs Tone, Legion requires more harassment before closing.

Sword core, though it takes your invincible execution away, applies the electric slowdown on all sword hits.
The main takeaway is don't expect to win spamming melee in their faces, you have to move out of their line of fire or they'll wreck you.

This could be a great cult game despite the low playerbase if EA didnt turn it into a franchise to attempt to kill cod fuck

I'm so pissed off at this, why not take a page from blizzard/valve or something and have faith in one (1) single game in a series and constantly update it and add more features to constantly draw more players until it's natural life cycle ends and then release the new one with bigger improvements

The most 'support' oriented loadout would be using Sonar Kunai and just playing objective. For weapons I'd use Softball and probably shock granades. Blind titans and saturate objectives with nades. But for Titanfall you have to git gud in some degree to be useful.

just had an lts match against all tones and 1 legion as ronin. my team was all tones as well. i really did piss damage because it was so hard to close the distance and get in tones face, and even just moving around geting pelted with the 40mm brought me to half hp before i even engaged anyone.
only luck i had was flanking a tone with 75% hp. i was able to execute him and not doom myself. is there no way to win in a scenario like that as ronin or am i not playing him good enough? i feel too squishy no matter what i do.

Not him but I just bought that a couple hours ago, so far the game itself is really good though the performance is fucking awful even on my 980 and even worse, mouse sensitivity is tied to FPS so as it hitches up and down your sensitivity and the smoothing and shit goes fucking crazy. Though apparently there is a beta patch on steam that fixes it all, I haven't tried it yet. The actual gameplay and level design and stuff is fantastic though.

Gameplay is pretty much like the first, just with more powers to play with.

Level design is on par with the first game mostly, some levels (clockwork mansion) are even better.

Sadly though the game's held back by it's performance - it's dogshit.

so why, even on pc, are many players playing this like its cod? constantly seeing people sprint right on the ground and camping rooftops all the time. not flanking and running headfirst into snipers, tones/legion and other foolish behaviour.
i thought maybe because it reached a wider audience and new/casual players came to the series on pc, but the pc numbers are not that great and many of the players are the dedicated players that stuck to tf1 to the end.
camping rooftops will get you some kills but its very easy to be flanked, especially with how fast the new stim is, and stuff like phase shift. not to mention that hipfiring is better than ever, and stuff like the alternator or eva will melt players in close range.
so what is it? i dont understand. on consoles its understandable, but not on pc. do people seriously just not learn?

consoles have higher population but generally a less intelligent(as far as how the game is played) playerbase. pc has lower population but still good enough for all game modes and you can go fast and aim much easier than a gamepad.

first you open up with ion and get ypur core to fuck his shit with either laser or sword core then whenever your shield is on cooldown switch to ronin to fase dash away from his core stuff and your set

Do people suck with them or something? I literally can't remember the last time I was killed by another ordnance. Grenades don't do shit to me because you can jump out of the way, fire stars the same, smoke is useless since I'm moving anyway, satchel doesn't get much use, etc. One of the reasons I'm usually in first place is due to good gravity star use.

I remember going up against this premade of 4 that I see once in a while, and I outright killed 4 of them in the same room by myself because of the gravity star, which turned the game in favor of us.

I miss Atlas.
I don't like Titan classes, they're too restrictive, and going up against a Tone as anything, especially a Ronin, is ridiculously unfair, especially when they hide behind their little shields like the bitches they are.
I miss the maps, only Eden and Homestead feel somewhat open, the rest have way too much shit in the way to reliably wall-run and bunny-hop, I don't like being punished for going fast.
I wish there were more cosmetic customization options other than a coat or a different color.
