So I need some opinions on outfits. As this story progresses Harek is gonna need actual armor. Not just a pair of pants, but I feel like being shirtless is part of his character, aswell I dont wanna rip-off Haar. So I made a chart of some outfits I think are fitting for Harek.

Aswell, Augustus is gonna need battle armor. For reasons, so whats the most fitting for The Listener of the DB?

Also I cant decide on the proper dwemeri gear for Tavryn.

MGEXE is a good tool to use even if you don't add any effects or distant land from it as it can make Morrowind run in widescreen res and allow you change the FOV and add AA/AO.
The only graphical thing it does out of the box is add a new (improved) water shader so if you want a more vanilla appearance and don't mind playing in 800x600 with binoculars then you can skip it.

Old Skyrim is a 32 bit program. Each item/character/place etc is assigned an ID of 8 Hex (4 each, 32 bit total), the first 2 Hexes are the load order position of the esp the item ID belongs to (0-255), so if you add 1 more, it crashes your game because Skyrim has a check for that or something.

Yes, most weapon mods come with only ground meshes and textures. Only avoid the one that has particle effects because they can have scripts in them.

I just cleared out Swindler's Den.

I didn't want to look too deep into Saadia's quest and ponder if I should believe her or not. What I know is that she's living in Whiterun, has a job, is doing well, gets along with the locals, and doesn't cause any trouble. Her past doesn't concern me much when she seems to be making a start on her future, and that's good enough for me.

Snakestone is neutral but favors the Empire, all those years growing up in the Imperial City rubbed off on him.

Harek was in the Legion, but deserted the Legion during the great war. If he could he'd join the Stormcloaks, but he fears he'd be caught by guards or Imperial patrols before he could make it to Windhelm.

My other characters don't care. Or in Blushes case, don't know about the war.

I believe each Hold has a right to pursue independence. It's not Jarl Stormcloak wanting to leave the Empire that annoys me. It's occupying other Holds and forcing them to join you that I have an issue with.

Your Merchant Stall lets you, well, have your own merchant stall. You can barter for prices and stock your inventory and everything. Without it, you can just keep doing the same thing over and over and nothing will ever change because the world is mostly static. Imagine just being on your way to the market in Solitude when you see it being overrun by Stormcloak soldiers, which in turn triggers a Dominion invasion into the province. Instead of having to break character and seek adventure yourself, the adventure will come to you, and it will be up to you to embrace or avoid it.

You know, I bust my ass making skyrim mods. I'll be damned if somebody calls me a fuckhead knowing full well I can't say anything back and still gets to use my work without consequence, because if I get banned, I can't upload files anymore, and any record of the success of the work(which is a nice little trophy for my wall) gets erased. If he gets banned, he essentially just loses the right to comment on files.

You're not a mod author. Your opinion of how things affect us is completely uninformed.

What is clear from our end is that the community is becoming increasingly toxic toward creators and the Nexus mods are doing their best to find a good compromise to keep us happy. Because every one of your favorite authors has gotten that one comment that makes them just seethe and has considered deleting everything and just using other people's work instead of making their own. We've all thought about it, and we talk about it on a regular basis.

If you want your "free speech" back(I look at it more as the ability to talk to the author directly, you DO have other places where you can review stuff where nobody can stop you), you need to convince the community to start being more respectful in general to mod authors. Because we can just stop modding. Lord knows my general temperament would be better if I didn't get called a dick 5 times every day by some random troll 2000 miles away, and if I quit then I wouldn't have to deal with that anymore. Then nobody wins.

You talk about the community needing to be able to trust the authors, but what you forget is that the community has long ago lost OUR trust. That's why the system was put in place. So we could honestly give a fuck about you trusting us.

Wintermyst's enhchantments do actual interesting stuff. World's Dawn adds a pointless extra layer of stats that makes little meaningful difference.

I've been playing as female Dunmer since Arena in 1994. CD-ROM version. Sometimes play as Breton, Altmer, and a couple others. Mostly female and a couple males. Nord male so I can be Conan the Barbarian, sorta.
