IDK, I'd say all three of them have it pretty bad now.

Though Jhin is basically trying to live the high life by traveling the world and doing what he loves before he get himself killed in his planned meetup with Shen and Zed, which will most likely end in his death. But that's what he wants; he knows he's become a monster who can't stop himself and his addictions, so he wants Shen and Zed to do it for him.

Zed may or may not be slowly turning into a literal demon due to his shadow curse. On top of that, being outcasted by Ionian society for having different views and a more honest approach to military tactics has probably taken it's toll. He wants to fight for justice, but is forced to do so under corrupt ways. He's a hero who had to undertake the role of a villain.

Shen has to deal with the guilt for failing his adopted brother and letting down his father with the destroyed Kinkou order. Not to mention the fact that he's currently living under a rapidly-changing Ionia which will most likely abandon its traditional ways of balance within his lifetime. He must feel like such a failure.

All three of them have pretty tragic lives, desu.

Piltover probably has a population in the hundreds of thousands the very least,but the image doesn't convey that at all it's just there to look cool and give that stereotypical futuristic look to it.

Not much, it's just a slice-of-life story from his perspective. His parents are working hard and saving up as much money as they can to send him to a school in Piltover.

Ekko rejects it and says he wants them to use the money for other means, because he wants spend his future improving Zaun for the better.

His parents give him the cold shoulder for a while until one day he comes home and they make him this fancy, home-cooked favorite meal for his birthday and apologize for their treatment, saying the'll support what he wants to do. Cue some heartfelt family time. Or that's the gist of it, from what I've read.

It just feels like a setup for something tragic later down the line.

I build tanky only when we have fucking 17 assassins on our team, which is pretty often now that we've not only been in the assassins everywhere meta for a year or two but the assassin rework is out and people are playing them just to try them out. Ivern was honestly made for this meta and I think it's so shitty that people think he's bad.

If your team has Yasuo top and Zed mid or Yasuo mid and Zed top you can still win with Ivern because all you need to do is root for them so they can get a free gapcloser without using theirs, then put a shield on them so they don't explode as well as a free slow and chunk for them to get an easy kill. I like to take the 10% shield/heal power mastery as well as buying knights vow specifically for this duty. If you buy enough support items and have full cooldown, you have like a 500+ damage shield every 2 seconds, plus you give them bonus armor and mr, plus more shields from items like aegis and face of the mountain. Now the enemy team literally can't cc your carry or assassin to death and they also can't get away from him at all. I lvoe this shit.

Can someone explain Katarina's new W to me? So she throws a dagger that lands where she's standing, and then afterwards you can walk back to it or shunpo to it which does damage in the area. But what's the point? Her old W was a substantial part of her burst + combo but now enemies can avoid it just by walking around the dagger or waiting till it despawns. Either I'm not understanding her new W correctly or it's really fucking bad which I think is why Kat's winrate is suffering.

TF's isn't literally global and it doesn't give the person getting focused a couple extra seconds of life for him to finish porting in.
TF is also much more useful in a poke/siege situation and much worse of a solo duelist so there's less reason to have him be split from the team.

Shen's ult is iconic in his kit but there's not much of a way around the fact that he's either relevant as a champion on his own outside of his ult and therefore best in class split pusher or not strong enough to warrant bringing just for his ult.
They could maybe experiment with giving the person he ults less of a get out of jail free shield and have the shield disappear when Shen finishes teleporting, or maybe just increase the teleport time so it closer matches the summoner spell.
That way the act of him teleporting doesn't basically win the fight on its own sometimes.
They could also just make him less of a solo duelist so he can't split INTO people and his team has to pressure properly and look for the 4v4 instead of drawing it out

But yeah, i think they should maybe just make his ult not Global or something like that. as it is right now he does no damage and is less tanky than most ADC"s until you buy 2-3 Tank items because of his shitty base stats and gains.
That said i think the Shield is important since it lets you save people and help engadge with something like say Shyvana or Malphite where you give them alot of durability for a few seconds so they can survive those first few seconds of burst damage. Maybe making it only last for roughly the Channel time would work like you said since after you're they're they won't "need" the shield since you're there to CC shit.
