Sastasha is a boring dungeon. That said, if queues aren't an issue then the quickest method of leveling is dungeon spam until 50, then again at 51+. If queues are an issue, like being a DPS and your queues are ridiculously long, then Palace of the Dead which requires you to be level 16 and start the quest from Gridania and takes you to South Shroud to unlock it. Palace of the Dead is also the best way to go from 50 to 51 on alt jobs after you're already in HW content so that you can spam the first HW dungeon.
Do your Leveling Roulette each day, and then the highest leveled dungeon available to you. The MSQ will carry you a bulk of the way, just not enough (you'll get gated just before the 49 quest if you rely on it) and most of the pre-50 dungeons are MSQ-locked anyway

I've got several alts and I only get gated right before Cape Westwind now. Back in 2.0, I got gated at 47, then again at Cape Westwind. Now, it's just Cape Westwind and no other time, besides the level 5 quest in your starting city, which just forces you to do the first class quest where you kill a few enemies in a starting zone

Phleb gets lost in the chaos as well. The rotation has you putting it up after Chaos + DB skill, but between all the buffs and debuffs and DoTs and bullshit, I lose track of it extremely quickly due to how the timing on everything is lined up.

No, the DRG rotation was overdeveloped. The old rotation was managing debuff/DoT combo, stand alone DoT skill, and Heavy Thrust. Now we have to monitor DB timing, extra GCDs to extend the timing, and an oGCD to spend DB duration, but not too much.

It feels like managing 2 rotations at once, and is just awful.

It literally could not be simpler. It's less complicated than the ARR GCD rotation.

You do Heavy Thrust, then your 4-hit combo. Phlebotomize, then the other 4-hit combo. Heavy Thrust, then the first 4-hit combo, then Phlebotomize again, then the other 4-hit combo again. If you get turned around, sometimes you end up switching which combo is paired with Phlebotomize and which is paired with Heavy Thrust. That's literally it.

It's the most rigid, regimented, easy-to-remember GCD rotation in the game. There's barely a hint of a priority system in the whole mess.

Heavy thrust should be removed from the game because it does fuck all other than "lol use this to keep a shitty flat dmg increase buff up or you'll get fucked". It's not a fun skill, nor does it add any depth or meaningful mechanics to the game.
Same for phleb, just put it in some other skill or remove it alltogether cause it's tedious and boring as shit.
Same goes for fracture and touch of death desu. I'd rather have some more meaningful and fun mechanics.
