Maybe im just unlucky, i've only been back to dota for a couple days. It'll probably even out.

Also when I was playing dota a year or two ago I really liked invoker and got pretty good at him, now I kinda want to branch out.

I was thinking of getting good at arc warden but its rough not having an escape. There's also morphling which I really like his look and kit.

As for the fps lags, try downgrading nvidia drivers to prior stable versions, its known that newer versions arent that stable and have lots of issues. Also try lowering graphics setting a bit as well.
For the heroes, morph and arc are fine to master and play but you should maybe play some others just because, to expand your pool even further

I usually just roam most of the time with those and create space as much as i can for my cores or babysit them, depends on lanes
For offlane, i like to play treant, nyx, sand king, earthshaker, sometimes clock
If i were to play safe lane, i would take something like pa, am, ursa, weaver, jugger..
I dont play mid that much or at all, but if i do get it somehow, i usually just take kunkka, hes a fun core, other than that i would play sf or magnus or some meme pick, i dont even know
