This is a calling to all 90's born cats who did not play vanilla. Elysium is bringing back vanilla wow, and for as long as ive been playing wow. All i've heard is how Great vanilla is. To the raiding all the way to world pvp. All ive heard is how much better the experience was, how much greater it was then the watered down trash blizz throws at us now, and quite frankly i believe it. This project has the possibility of letting all those who missed the bus to cheat time itself and get a chance at glory. The glory that is vanilla wow. The glory of rolling in 30 deep to the eastern kingdom looking for shizz to start. The glory of grabbin ur nuts as u prepare for a 40 man raid. Now i know there are others just like me who are trying to get the most out of this experience. To be honest there will be obstacles. The Chinese, inexperience, and all the cats who played vanilla spoiling the new experience we will be trying to get. These obstacles can be overcome with some collaboration.

So im creating this guild for those who wish to not have their experience squandered. For those who wish to get the classic experience that this was made for. Id apologize, but frankly im not sorry. The simplest explanation would be related to their love of fuckhuge population numbers. You could ask it another way, "Why didn't they just open another pvp server when the population during china power hour was so insane?"
They clearly liked the big numbers, either to prove a point or for whatever reason.
The other easy explanation is that their is an undercurrent of SJWism present in their moderation activities, which you can clearly see by reading Pottu's post history.
There were loads of wintraders and goldsellers banned, as well as many bans overturned. If you're meaning the most obvious case that got overturned, it did seem wonky and I am curious if it was DDOS threats and not kickbacks. But we'd still have to ignore the large amount of actual bans that happened as well in order to flesh out the conspiracy theory.

I played the fuck out of this on one of my WoW breaks. My buddies and I were convinced we were going to stick with it, but then it just emptied out after a few months. It's too bad the pve wasn't really there but the RvR was so much fun, and still some of the best pvp I've had in any game.

I saw several people hit rank 7 before hitting 60 when nost was released, and from rank 7 it seems within range to hit rank 10 quite early on, no?
I'm gonna have a good amount of home comfy-time because I'm writing my master's, so I'm thinking of finally going for that goal of getting full rare pvp gear.
