I tested letting w6 run for a bit. I wanted to let it time out, but apprentice pulled out the D about 4 minutes in and people panicked and started attacking her when that happened, so we only got about 6 minutes.
As you can see here, the second set of 4 AIS spawned at 24:36 (and apprentice lasered the blue base). The first set spawned at 28:43 and died at 28:16, so I assume that new ones spawn 3:40 minutes after you kill the last AIS, or it's just some delay and they spawn about every 4 minutes. Apprentice started her laser at 25:49, which doesn't seem like a significant time and probably just means someone was attacking her (I did see someone blast her at the start). There's a possibility that the laser is somehow time or spawn based aswell, which would effectively limit how long you can keep farming, assuming she can do it more than once.

Alright I've been playing a bit of everything since I started, I'm lvl70 but never got myself into the spells and/or the Force/Tech classes.

I've been looking but I can't find a somewhat up-to-date guide that teaches you basically how the class plays, what difference between the weapons, what spells etc.

I hate to beg here for help but I'm losing my mind I just want to start a caster class starting on some solid bases.

Techer is good, but they are practically melee class with support spells. There's also a ring that allows element changing, which means you no longer have to grind a wand for each element.

Depends on what you want to do with FO. You have a lot of options when it comes to elements and subclasses. If you want to play basic Fo/Te you'll want to consider multiple skill trees if you want to use more than just a few elements. You need a weapon with the same element of the technics you use as well. You also need to match elements because Fo gets a massive damage boost by hitting elemental weaknesses.

You can play something wilder like a specialized Fo/Br or Fo/Gu build and then just skill into ice if you want to go about it cheaper.

The spawns work different than you think. First set of Exodas spawn ~15 seconds after all the Damoths have been cleared. Another ~15 seconds after that, couple waves of Goldies and Dagans. And again, ~15 seconds after that, another wave of 4 Exodas spawn, which are quickly replaced by 4 more when you clear them. All that along with more Goldies and Dagans. It is stupid because automate deadline still starts with monomates instead of trimates, and an attack is more likely to knock you around half health rather than a quarter. Regardless, I can legitimately see sega making automate main class only come episode 5. Fuck, they might as well just make fucking everything that isn't a skill ring skill main class only.

Sega should just remove Automated Halfline. It invalidates most other defensive skills just because it's already good enough, lowers skill needed to play several classes because you can mostly forget about dodging, and makes everyone sub Hunter even more.

It's annoying cause if you're a Ranged class and sub Hunter there is literally nothing better to take than Automated Halfline. Pretty much no way to convert those skill points into damage.

For Hu/Fi you lose like 4-5% damage worth of satk, Gix changed it around and if you face tank with it too much you can lose even up to 20% damage together with the satk. It's still such a lazy shit design since not account for the newest 13* Automated Halfline didn't have any serious downsides to it.

Sega is kinda pandering to the muh tanky crowd the wrong way. Basically they try to make them work exactly the same as DPS except you never have to worry about actually reacting to enemy attacks, and as a tradeoff you do lower damage. Sometimes I just think they should've left Fury Stance as flat damage and Guard Stance as much larger damage multiplier but working at 100% only when countering enemy attacks in some way. Kinda like Ignite Parrying/JG PP gain.

What's the point of making a class option that's just being braindead for lower damage.

IMO, for general purpose play like pug UQ amduscia, you're going to want it since you're bound to get hit and hit often. Being able to massive hunter + war cry + automate so you can just go ham at the mobs surrounding you is better than having to go OH SHIT every 2 seconds because you got the entire room's aggro.

Only XHTA has almost like UD solo only with automated.

Sure you can pretend that solos don't matter because pugs are different. But Pugs heavily favour attack over defense. Only in something like XHTA do you get 3 bosses with aggro all on you that will take even longer to kill as you're solo. Pugs are more about dumping your damage fast, have lots of restas thrown around and even some Deband Techters. It's more optimal to just roll with a decent HP pool than forget 20% bonus damage from Gix. I use solos because they are easy to measure and not "Oh I just outparsed some pugs".
