I don't like playing Yugioh but thinking about it is kind of interesting for how different it is from every other card game. I'm surprised no one's made a Yugioh clone yet, it's got some cool shit going on when you get past the predatory imbalance.

I love the stupidly complex combos and routes in the game, and then watching them fall apart when they're interrupted at the right time. The information game is more intense than MTG control mirrors. So many cool as fuck archetype ideas too.

But oh man is that game imbalanced.

I miss Gadgets. It's so strange to think how much the game has changed, that just playing a weak monster that grabs another weak monster for free while destroying a single monster a turn with another card was OP but now every other monster is either immune to most things or triggers 10 different effects when they're removed for any reason.

Dshift's a counter deck so it is really fucking bad if it's not against a deck it beats.

Aggro/Face is a much more possible win if you run into a unfavourable matchup, that makes it much easier to streak with the likes of storm haven, aggro bats and face dragon. That said I got my biggest win streak since like D playing mainly control sword and a pure seraph deck.

Well, Princess helps thin the deck, so I think she fits very well if you're running both Vanguard and Quickblader. I take back putting 3 copies though, 2 is probably good enough.

She also serves as an activator for Fervid, so if you put in Ascetic you might want to replace Fervid with Mentor's Teachings or something.

Don't go to Vengence unless you have to. Only go for it when you have Revelation or Righteous Devil in hand, otherwise keeps yourself alive. Dire Bond is a good way to get into quick Vengence but can regain your health overtime, provide you won't got aggro'ed to death afterward.
