Currently only those you buy from the store, but PS1 can be emulated pretty well. There is an ePSP explpoit in the works, but it'll probably be AT LEAST a month or two before we get that publically.

Most of them. Games coming out now are impossible to play on a hacked vita because of updated titlekeys (even legit copies), but nearly everything released before 3.61 is available. Some games (Atelier most notably) seem to have glitches or bugs, but most games run fine.

Sure, the question is whether you like them or not. Check the Games doc in OP (use the DATABASE tab) and take a look at anything that jumps out at you and see if the system has stuff to offer for you.

Ok, quick question. Hopefully someone can answer me. Did the hacked system transfer with no problem really although one of my downloaded games installed on my previous 3ds now shows up on my new 3ds as greyed out with an "x" over it in the system settings data management thing. I am assuming I have to reinstall or whatever but will my save data be available after doing so? Do I delete the data and do a clean install from the CIA or should I just leave the lingering data alone and attempt to reinstall? I can probably backup the save data for the game because I still have it working fine on the original 3ds. I just wanna play it on my new one, so Jk's is always an option to sort of "transfer" over my game, but will I even need to do that?

Whenever I did the system transfer myself fairly recently (like a month ago) It asked me at the very end of the transfer if I wanted to delete sd card data and I picked no. It honestly doesn't matter too much though from what I can tell. If you made an sd card backup of both of your systems, which you should have since I remember the guide telling you to do so, then deleting stuff of the sd card wouldn't matter anyway since you can just copy and paste the backup back onto your sd card. The guide was more or less trying to save you an extra step but deleting or not deleting really has no effect as long as you have a saved backup on your computer

Apparently the "solution" is to turn off the console when this happens and try to launch them again. My question is, aren't they supposed to be official? If so, why does this happen then? I have the lewd patches myself, no prepatch needed i just bootntr if i want to look at low res lewds, which so far has been once for novelty.

The romfs niggery is a simple replacement trick, the plugin redirects the games request for these files from the normal place to it's own personal stash, it hijacks the path if you will.
To patch them in you unpack the games .cia, swapout the files and repack and install.
A cleaner trick is to instead modify the games latest update file, this was a trick used for the mosnter hunter cross translation.

bootntr is what would be technically referred to as a 'shim', because the ntr dev is a bit of a faggot and hasn't open sourced the project we have to make do with how it is right now, to deal with this when we boot up the ntr cfw we modify the offsets it targets to handle new firmware like 11.2 and such.
Bootntr is a cfw loader and a compatability patch in one, which is why you update your bootntr along with your firmware instead of a new ntr.bin, if it were open source we could just have luma integrate all the stuff ntr does better, but no.

The romfs tricks use a plugin for ntr which is in many ways like how cafiine works for the wiiu. The plugin is custom built to watch for the calls to those specific files it is charged with swapping out.

So a few months ago I did the 3DS hack, downgraded, then split the whatever it was, installed the thingie and then updated to 11.0.0. Had some fun pirating shit but then stopped due to lack of games.

Turned my 3DS on for the first time a while today and it's asking me to do a system update.
