The levitation spell is custom, the animation happens whenever casting a spell. I prefer the floating animation when using spells, make the character seem more powerful.

Question about equipment. Do circlets count as light armor? If I wear a circlet with light body hand and foot armor, do I still get the perk for wearing all light armor? Or does it HAVE to be a helmet?

You don't necessarily need to be a lore buff to write a good story, espcially if you're doing a story that takes place during one of the games. Beyond that, the Imperial Library is a good place to start as it has all the ingame books, as are the wikis for more info.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from your notes it seems you're usually pretty hesitant to return to previous chapters and restructure or rewrite them. That's something you're going to need to get comfortable, so maybe take what you have right now and start brain storming. There's no shame in tweaking, rewording, or even replacing old material, as long as it makes for a cleaner, more engaging story.

Your writing, especially your dialogue, suffers from a lack of variety, tone, emotion, and so forth. It's a bit like a cola that's been left out over night. While it's still sugary sweet syrup, it fails to engage the taste buds in any meaningful way. I'd go through each scene when you have the time and try as best you can to feel the emotions running through Natalia's head. What in the environment registers with her, and how does that impact her current choices. You've done a decent job of attributing her past to her current behavior, but it's a bit forced. Almost like she's reading/reacting based on a script.

Also a lot of typical lines/phrases that could be removed/replaced. "Shedding a single tear." is probably not the best way to end the first chapter.

But 7/10 as far as casual fanfics go. Keep it going, you'll improve.

Having a circle of friends into the same stuff as you helps too. I'm back to writing after a nasty bout of depression and friends getting back into TES thanks to SSE, asking me questions about Tamriel and the like, trying to make their own characters, et al.
