The model quality inconsistency in this expansion is so prevalent that it's near-cartoonish.

So many item sets are plagued by semi-transparent lines on the texture borders which leads to visible striping. The lines are green here since the textures were put over a green background but in-game you'll see your characters skin color showing through your gear a little, following the paths of these lines.

On the left is what Blizzard gives us, on the right is the fix I've done for this robe. It works in-game.

The bottom is the layer mask.
White=Opaque
Gray=Semi-transparent
Black=Fully transparent

You'll see this shit appear on textures from as far back as vanilla up until at least warlords. Maybe even on some Legion shit too.

This is not a very difficult problem to solve. While it's time consuming to fix the ones already messed up by it, preventing it is easy. You'd think they would solve it by now. Some fucking retard on their art team keeps screwing up textures and is getting paid for it.

Why is Blizzard so sloppy with their texturing?
