Alright, I finished tagging all the voice lines. I didn't get to do the same for the JP voice lines and unfortunately I've gotta wake up in four hours so I won't be getting around to that tonight. As oppressive as ancient elf and tia is they have fair methods to get 2-for-1ed back

No here's 2 mana for 6/5 worth of stats and a 2/1 of it is a charger. Strong early, strong mid and even not a bad draw late with garuda

It's just oppressively strong all game and all variants Storm/Elana/Seraph all 3x it

You don't see banner swords 3xing Otomeme because it fucks with their tutoring. You don't see 3x Tia in tempo elf. You sometimes even see 2x Forte in Ramp Storm

It's just the game design team's way of putting on a fucked up bandaid for a very bad class. The only issue with it right now is that it's become a retarded staple in every possible variation of the class

My main problem is that a lot of these past games, my Elanas have all been at the bottom of the deck. I added the bellringers to help with shuffling, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. People keep saying Prism Priestess is good, but at 3pp, it's a very awkward card to play, as I usually end up playing her by herself when a 2/2 isnt enough to protect me. Any advice from people more experienced? And no, making it a Seraph hybrid isn't an option. If it was, I would have done it already

Snowballing with Elana's is usually a second priority from what I know and seen. Turn 1 Sacred Plea, Turn 2 Beastcall is still cancerous as can be. Just make sure you know what to mulligan for

Sacred Plea at 3 is pretty important. Olivia and storm bunny do little for the deck and I assume you're running them because you have them, but don't.

The nature of Elana is that you hit your cards and roll over most match ups, or you miss them and die. There's really not much you can do about this except hope you survive and draw them by turn 5ish. It's a fairly inconsistent linear deck that gets counter-intuitively gets by on brute forcing rank.

Not that guy but I really don't think draw or consistency are the problems with Control Shadow right now. Soul Conversion is actually fantastic with the current toolkit and you have access to Skullcradle. Spirit Cycle is much better than Dire Bond, and as a whole the craft seems more consistent because it cares far less about combo pieces, playing a much more traditional control game.

And that traditional control game is the reason I wouldn't ever want to play it because control decks right now are largely combo or bust.

They are pretty hit or miss yeah. I stopped running Playful Necromancer entirely for that reason though, it being 4/3 base instead of 3/4 like Balance Fencer and Dick Stick Priest just ruin it for me.
