I have macro ability on my mouse, but I couldn't manage to get it to pull it off when doing macros with it. The closest thing I got to was spamming the key, but then it didn't actually pull it off as fast as without macros.

FFXIV is horribly expensive for what it is.
It also doesn't look as good as Tera, I like some of the character designs but I prefer Tera overall.
The main issue I have is that I simply don't like the combat system it uses and the stuff to do is as boring as every other mmo, if I'm going to play the same old shit I'm not going to pay hundreds of $ a year for the privilege. XIV has a lot of filler content but once you do them a few times it's no different than Tera, you still only do the same few dungeons over and over.
It annoys the crap out of me that I can't login whenever I want with XIV, I have to pump money in just to talk to a friends if I'm not actively playing.
