highlander just got a buff to moulinet: a much faster animation and double damage on enemies affected by crown. and clones performs moulinet too (crossguard + clone kunais burst are also a sight to behold)

I think that they fucked up by enabling shooting star for the clones but what makes the murmillo the bst option is the fact that you can mix rodel 3 + murmillo since the r7 slot is basically free (pelt 3 for max tankness, corsair for pvp, shinobi for memes, doppel for deeds but giving up 50% physical defense on that playstyle is weird)

on a r9 scenario, if epee garde works with clones, whelp, prep kunais will delete the whole screen

energyblast is the only reason to ever have a monk, one-inch punch is great but good luck landing it, the shockwave you get by throwing a handknife at someone effected by deprotected zone is also great, but thats impossible to land or even use effectively. palmstrike has a decent aoe so it can be useable but the bleed is ass. God finger flick is pretty strong when maxed but the range is shit, still worthwhile damage though. All in all monk is for bullying untill you get energy blasted. Oh yeah and iron skin doenst even work, and nobody makes use of the golden bell attribute.

monk was always viable for pvp, eblast is really nice but not so impressive today (vs 50k high con people with 700 blocks), but asa monk you can pack cleric 2, priest for ress/monstrance, mass heal and inquisitor at r8. what makes monks pales is the utility from dievs, oracle, kabba and etc. you can go monk 2 + pd but still an ass build because lv 7 kamehameha with a shit weapon is not enough and not worth to be a half-ass doctor

I was in the same boat for awhile. I'm not playing the game because it's fun anymore because it obviously isn't. I'm playing to restore Open World PvP to an entire server. Over the past months I got Ohayou and FutureProof to fight consistently, and this time we were set to include FutureProof, Reroll, and CuteNotLewd. At the last minute Impetus joined totally unprompted which really makes it seem like Open World PvP isn't fully on life support, and might just go on if I didn't set it up.

You should try and give yourself some big, abstract project in game too. It's a lot of fun doing player-generated content then grinding through what IMC's given us. I could use someone's help organizing smaller skirmishes and events as well, so if you can't think of your own project you're welcome to help with this one for fun.

Corsair is absolutely awful aside from the hook and the ocassional dust devil to stop Rush, even the flag is almost useless due to the really low activation rate.

I'd advise against using me as an example because I'm all over the field, and fairly poor. Rob or Teammahammad are both excellent lancers you should look at and base fights off, Rob especially considering his gear.

Meanwhile I'm in 2v2 with a Con build that gives me 53k HP and am testing if I can function with just being a pure CC tank for my partners. The next day, I've rerolled heavy Dex, and am now at 33k HP and testing a full cloth gear set at Rance's advice.

If anyone cares about the results, Full Con feels very comfortable and I have very little that can outright kill me. On the other hand, my dex heavy cloth armor build does more damage, and I survive a lot longer against clerics & wizards, however if I run up against a cata it's lights out unless my partner can really carry me. The video in >>160149974 shows my cloth armor set in Open-World PvP. I'm still testing and will see where I land, but I'm not a theorycrafter, and would advise basing thoughts on lancers around Rob, probably.

c1 corsair should be enabled to wear pistols, with iron hook giving a debuff to increase dagger/pistol damage (low numbers, maybe 10%)
I can see iron hook being capped at 10 seconds for pvp (gem/dm) in case a massive overhaul to the top cancerous threats happens (with corsair into a low priority of that list, of course).

so pve/overall buffs may come. keel hauling has two rares uses and that can be improved a lot for pve, maybe even allowing the pull when "chain" is on

dust devil deserves a better hitbox and a faster motion with some kind of "pain barrier" and CC resist effect so it can be a reliable counter to rush (70% of the time if you don't have bloodletting the cata will chainstun you and your dd will break)

DD should have two versions, the old we already know and buffed as I said above and a pistol version that does aoe gun damage and slow targets
corsair's "hit from behind" attribute should works for skills as well - as long as a dagger is equipped
jolly roger's pillage is fine, but the damage bonus is a big shit, make it works as a small % bonus like from 10% up to 30% on JR 15 max stacks


DWA needs a total rework, maybe make it work with a limited number of skills too (ex: thrust gets a third hit (C auto attack) from the dagger"), or maybe a bonus attack and a %attribute bonus for those autos
hexen is okay (but a DWA compatibility attribute to c3 would be nice. ie: hexen actually getting bonus damage from the dagger as additional damage based on the dagger status, not just main hand and dagger's elemental damage, but not for pistols),

pistol shot needs a true r7 value numbers, and a better range/area, similar to retreat shot maybe, and of course, compatibility with DWA.

this would make corsair overall stronger justifying the iron hook cap . imo you could even cap the skill lv to 5 (9 seconds) like ress from priests /barrel from scouts

No matter what IMC did, even if tomorrow the game ran at 60FPS, was ran at a total loss for the sake of being free and only accepted donations over kickstarter/patreon to keep the servers up, and all instances were removed, people would still shit all over it for not being RO and shitpost telling people to quit. The community is constantly telling other to quit, IMC to give up, and then complaining about the game being "dead", and wondering why IMC seems to not care about a game where a bunch of negative asses can only spew hatred.

I mean even now, even you the shitposter, can only come up with "2fpshooligan" and "waah, this game wants people to spend money on it" to complain about as a major complaint.
