Solo kills is when you 100-0 the guy yourself. That means if he got tagged, healed up and you kill him that's your solo kill. If somebody gets even one hit in it's not a solo kill. Flank kills are when you go behind the guy. Now, to do this, Hi-Rez are lazy bastards so flank kills are all kills you do while not inside the enemy's field of sight.

He is like Ruckus, can't do much on his own. Hook relies on team's ability to follow up and while the dome is great at shielding the team from long range attacks, the cooldown is so long and leaves you vulnerable for anyone to just step inside and blasting your shell off.

1. ride almost to the point.

2. If you are not against fernando, immediately hook their tank's bitch ass and shoot him in the mouth. If you are against a Barik or Ruckus and you have a team, this is immediate first blood. If you are against Fernando, ignore him and go grab someone else.

3. A few cannonballs later, you make your decision. Can you contest this point? If yes, shield up and stay at the very edge of the point, pull out if some guy tries to walk inside your shield. If no but you are not under heavy fire, stay at the edge and keep shooting. If no and you are getting shit on, shield up outside and get ready to dive into cover, but try to use your health as a resource for as long as possible. Try to pick someone with hook so you can contest.

tl;dr: Use hook whenever it's off CD and don't miss/waste it. Shield up to protect yourself when hook is on CD or when nothing is going on. Save your F to escape.

If there is a competent Drogoz with morale boost on the enemy team, just go AFK and save yourself some time.

I just had fun with a frontliner for the first time.

I played as Makoa and there was a Grohk who lived and died for me. He waited for me on horseback while I rode out from spawn and he would jump on the objective with me every time. I tried my best to keep him alive.

It was a lot of fun. Man these types of games are rewarding when your teammates aren't retards.

Oh well, back to soloing as Pip since that won't happen again for awhile.

I don't think so, actually. It only applies to weapon shots. The spit explosion is generally enough to kill a turret or illusion instantly, anyway.

Anyone knows how to change key bindings in setting files? After the newest patch pressing T dismounts me and I use that binding for push-to-talk.

There is no binding that uses this key in options, so they must have added something hidden that uses it.

That Viktor is probably a pro player, I played against him before since his name looks familiar along with some others in his team so he's probably a fucking raging homo premade boi, but still 0 eliminations man. Matchmaking is all over the place.
Check paladins.guru to check everyone's elo. Since the free crystal weekend, I've been consistently matched with people 200 points under my elo on both teams, with the occasional 2k+ queuing with his 1.5k buddy.
Win rate went from 75%+ to nearly 50%, elo tanked like mad because +12 elo on wins, -20 on defeats.

Sha Lin was a mistake. Massive damage, CC, invisibility ult and ear grinding audio.

People at hugbox subreddit bitched at me for daring to suggest that Hi-rez can't into balance.

Each new hero has been more broken than the last and introduces power creep like crazy.

Mal'Damba is currently the second best healer.
Ying is still number one because of the hands-off approach of course, but in the current meta of bomb king and drogoz domination, grover isn't a safe pick anymore because your team is either gonna get destroyed for trying to stick together or just not even bother trying in the first place.
Grohk's totem is too easy to smash, which basically makes him a damage dealer at this point (and he can do a fuckload of damage up close).
Pip is still shit, he was only decent if your team managed to stick together, and then grover was just better at that. Pip is just a flank with a heal.

I guess that's a good point. For my build I put everything into explosive flask (life steal, lower cd and regenerating ammo) and I was having a lot of success with it. It's better for 1v1 situations and when you're just acting as artillery for your team. Also, I found that the normal weightless speed was usually good enough for getting in and out.
