Yes I did go back to win7. My FPS was pretty good in general on win10 but there were major hiccups between cells and especially between holds where you have multiple sets of landscape textures at once etc.

Is it just me or does magic suck complete ass? I tried making orc destruction mage and everything seems so hard in comparison to my melee and bow build. Even with shock spells I can't kill mages and and most hard fights consist of me running in circles placing magic traps and waiting mana regen.

Does it get better later or does magic just suck?

I've only played vanilla Skyrim as mage builds. I spam Firebolt/Fireball as DPS damage, take the Mage Stone to get through the skill trees quicker, wear robes + Oakflesh + Mage Armor, and Restoration for self-healing.

It's definitely a Quadratic Mages experience. Hard as hell at the beginning, but quickly curves into amazing damage potential.

This gets better with magic mods.

I can't into sword-and-board builds anymore.
