While they're always introducing interesting mechanics, it also means the meta is always shifting. But they've done a lot of quality of life improvements recently too, so starting isn't as ass as it was before.
It's good for the puzzling aspect and has some cute art, but it's trash if you want interaction with your cuties. I don't like the stress it can cause you, and recently I'll go days without wanting to use stamina.

Nobody seems to be doing puzzling games anymore since butting in on PADs territory is impossible.

After rolls after rolls of no 5*s, DC finally decided to even out my roll rates by giving me this. Looks like the fuckboi is a decent supporter, but is Hestia worth using? For my offensive I'm currently using Inan'na, Shoujo Detective, and 4* Dabi +2. I'm thinking of replacing Dabi with the boi, and considering replacing the detective with Hestia. Thoughts?

As a former pad addict, what finally made me stop playing was the fact that I'd spent the better part of a year grinding to get a meta team maxed out, then suddenly the meta shifted and my team couldn't take on the hardest content anymore, and I had none of the components of the new hotness. Hestia is not really worth using over your current lineup. The only thing she really has going for her is the fact that her drive hits 5 people. She does extra damage to recovery type with some bleeding on slide and that's about it. Glasses guy is pretty good though, if you like crits.

Good, that means you have standard 2HT team. Don't know why you put KV-85 instead of her though.
Maybe grab better LT? VK1602 is great. Sloped + wedge, and QF APCR. Replacing LAV is also good, 50PA is the best LAV with 2 cabin slots.

IS-2m is the great because of her hidden resistance stats, so you don't have to put wet racks or fire extinguisher. Since you already have KV-2 and SU-100, aiming for her is great pick. Though N6 is still very far, so at least try crafting the required skirt armor for now.
Firefly and T-60 are good, but I think Chatillon is more preferable to burn wrecks for MT.

Yes, you're missing something.

There are sometimes special fleet composition requirements to go down specific paths. For this map, if you have a BB in your fleet, you will take that path to the left 100% guaranteed.

You can see all the node requirements on the wiki which you should check constantly when progressing.

First time they ran the Douglas 2 event, I think Douglas 1 got a few repeats before that. But yeah.

Once someone leaves gacha in Shironeko, they're gone for good. Shinkis are just to make characters relevant again for a while, for the people who already have them.

But different job/outfit versions can show up later. About half of Douglas2 characters made it into a voting-based school set earlier this year, for example.

Just going to explain how UG works for anyone trying to push further. But before that I suggest you just drop the fucking game because the devs are a bunch of assholes.

every node between the boss nodes are random, the only ones you must watch out for and kill first are:

Dude with a bat, fucking destroys you with crits.
water gamer girl, confuse on drive crush and slows the shit out of you. Crits hurt too.
that light 5* schoolgirl qt everyone seems to fucking want, she will slap you around and piss on your lowest def party member.
CUBE, the literal fucking worst cancer in existence. The computer cheats and will never hit the two highest atks in your team once they are petrified until drive crush.

Another note is that they WILL delay their drive crush right up until your defense buffs go down.

If you want to easy mode cruise through safely through most of the rounds bring someone who can debuff confusion on drive crush. It seriously boosts survivability. Won't work on final few stages because they will straight kill you if you don't hit hard.

The UG system is probably designed with players having at least 2 sets of 5* teams to do hard. Stages will keep their lost health/unit levels if you lose your team and you can bring in the next to keep going. If you time out you simply get bumped out and can add/remove members as you please for anyone that is NOT DEAD. If you have a revive make sure you revive dead units before the end of the round or they become permanently unusable for the day.

Fuck this game, shit balancing.

For those rerolling later in Crash Fever, both of the units featured, Hubble and Turing, are pretty much the best we can get. If you're crazy and rolling for both, good luck. If you get Hubble, Rapunzel would be a good pull to try for in the other gacha going on.

Normal is such a cakewalk for me right now and Hard is just a kick in the dick.

Heat as a tech is better, but HE is by far the most common ammo and has some of the strongest tanks.
APCR is extremely good but is not as common as AP. If you are going down the IS-2m and Tiger II lines you get plenty of tanks that can use either. Many Tanks with APCR have that as their sole ammo unlike many other types.

HE + APCR is the most common tech pairing in the game at this point since the tank coverage between the two is so good.

Heat+AP/APDS is finally getting some decent traction but they are completely different lines of tanks and generally lower rank.

There's no point going for super doro (Bison II line) if you aren't going to get HE. Emil also benefits from it massively it.

Despite being entry level, 38(T) is already a really good scout LT. The upgrade you get from going to T-80 or VK1602 is surprisingly small as scouts.
Unless your target tanks have 0 LT prereqs it's the last thing I would go for. Vera is cute as fuck though. The P2 Ausf F is pretty mediocre but at least she's an emergency wet scout I guess.

Scout aggro is peanuts. Especially on a high stealth, silent engine LT. Mine takes 0-2 hits on most fights with no camo. For low tech levels (basically pre raid) you might need a camo if you want 0-1 hits.
If you wanted to go full OT and had high standard tech that's a different issue. The upgrades are so small it's ridiculous otherwise.
Hell I even use the Marder 3 M as a scout and she contributes more to the battle than my SP.IC does in certain maps.

I mean they are clearly better, but leveling a crappy prereq gold for a tiny upgrade when you can follow tons of other lines where you can get a good pre-req tank leading to one of the best tanks is a far better deal.

it took me a while to figure it out at first, but i found the fix on google. open the "records" file in notepad and you'll see a list of all your macros along with their settings. either add a new entry or change one of the existing macro names to match the filename of the macro you want to use and it should show up.

The further you progress in the main quests, the more mana you'll get from them as you start to get the higher grade mana pots that can be exchanged at the trader. You can also trade various coin currencies for mana pots, but that seems like a waste.Pretty much any quest you do except for non-host connect battles will give you some mana and a chance at the mana pots.

Clear the main story until you start to have trouble 3-starring it, then work on unlocking blue and then purple frames to get more equip slots on your main team. At least do the hero quests for your main team every day. As you farm orbs you'll end up getting plenty of mana, and tickets make the clears quick when you need 25-30 or even 50 fragments as part of the orb materials and just dump a bunch of stamina all at once.
