a long time ago i found this game interesting so i download it, played a bit with the starter warframe that controls gravity and i really liked it, so i went here and read the op to find some info about it
saw the warframe tiers at that time and a few mogamu videos and i bought mirage since i found the design appealing, didnt felt like grinding for rhino, stopped for a bit since some other games that i was looking forward to play released but now i want to dive into this again so here's a few questions
first time i played the game looked like an eternal grind for pieces to build shit, is it still like that?

Regular grakata ain't great. You need to upgrade. If you want somethin similar try the soma prime. Buy it now before it gets vaulted. It might look pricey but it ain't gonan get cheaper.
If you wanna try something different, get a tonkot or a synoid simulor, or maybe a tigris prime. They're vy and large the most powerful weapons in the game.
And make sure you max out your split chamber and most importantly, your serration. Without those mods your builds will alwyas be shit.
As for a frame that can take a lot of punishment, there are a bunch, but they're all pretty resource intensive, assuming you still don't wanna grind Rhino. But seriously nut up and get Rhino. He's the new players best friend and exactly what you're looking for.
He was the first frame I picked up as a new player and he carried my ass through the entire star chart and grinding 90% of my prime gear.

the quest was overall fine, the instruction on what to do with all of your familiar controls removed was awful. the operator mode seems mostly useless in a mission, so the only reason to use it is for the shit that specifically requires it. Riven mods seem like somewhere between hot awful garbage and nearly useless.

I think DE had released the requirements to start the quest but there were still tons of people who didn't keep track. I know I didnt.
If you havn't been in the game for a long time there's pretty much a built in wait because you have to complete the second dream which takes a solar junction that may or may not require you to craft a weapon and then when you finish that you have to do the Pluto sedina junction which also requires you to build a weapon so assuming you're super dedicated there's at least a 24 hour wait.
