The mixture leans out as the engine warms up, so when you're gunning it, it ends up lean enough to start backfiring. Upgrading the carb and radiator is always a good idea though, the stock ones are trash.

How to get the poop hose back out with ease:

I can usually do it in one step, but wanted to show how you know you're going too fast.

Crouch and use Q to lean over the poop well and grab the hose as far down as you can.

Carefully lift straight up and out to avoid physics glitching on poop well opening.

Lift over head and turn around, walk forwards (away from) the poop well.

If the end of the hose you are holding starts to spaz out, you are about to drop it. Just wait a moment for it to calm down.

Also, the closer you park to the poop well the more difficult it is to get the hose out as you have less slack on your end. You'll end up pulling against the hose in the well and the part on your truck, making this take several more steps.

How fucking lean is the Satsuma engine by default? I've been scrolling up for like 200 scrolls now and my shits still white.

Havent gotten that far in the game, but i would imagine its refering to your differential drive gear ratio. All torque is multiplied by this final gear before it reaches the wheels. Higher gear ratio means more turns of the engine before it turns the wheel (were ignoring the transmission in the explination), which give you more power at launch but will reduce top speed. Lower ratio is just the opposite.

Toe-out or toe-in wheel all the way to the end until stops moving, then 60 clicks back.
If engine valves at default position just scroll down 18 times, then 7 up for each valve. If you managed to fuck up everything, it's 25 down, 11 up.
For the carb just scroll down 20 times, start the engine, pull out choke and wait till temperature gauge reach halfway mark. Release the choke and scroll up until you get white smoke, instead of dark.

Choke thingy looks like wipers/lights buttons on the right, but you can pull it by holding left mouse button and release with right. It's just helps to warm engine faster.
If you already have white smoke, just scroll down until you get dark, then one click back. That means you got 14 air/fuel mixture, which is perfect for a stock car. Anything even slightly higher can overheat the engine and pistons would be fucked, thats bad. Make sure that you have running temperature during that, it's that halfway mark on the engine temperature gauge.

quickest possible method of making money with the van wood delivery exploit. ~9,600MK.

>1) download the old 10.30 build, the latest build the exploit exists in and extract it somewhere (your newer saves are still compatible)
start this anytime during the day or night. doesn't matter if you just delivered to him, or if he's standing outside his house or not.
>2) throw some peer, food and a full diesel can (optional) into your van because this gets tiring
>3) back your van into the chopping log at an angle so the rear is facing more towards the wood pile than the back of the barn (best method- least amount of wood falls out while chopping) put your handbrake on. turn the van off.
>4) chop 50 blocks of wood. 50 is the minimum to get the most money. you can deliver less. chop a few extra logs because they fall out of the van in transit. lean through the back of the barn to check for stray blocks of wood that may have fallen through the wall.
>5) take the lakeside route to get to the delivery point. start driving towards where the boat is, and heading right follow the coastline until you are facing a clearing of land that has burned grass and sparse with trees. you will see a grey boulder & a path on the hill in the distance. wood guy is to the right of those. you'll see his red roof when you start climbing the hill.

>12) load it up and dump it again. get paid again. you just made 9600MK with minimal time and effort.
>13) top off your tractor with diesel if you brought it or plan on doing this trick a lot. it doesn't run out very quickly.
and that's it. i attempted to bring a load of 200 chopped logs but your fatigue runs out way too fast to get four loads done in a day.
