how do i heal as priest
i've been doing my first mythic at ilvl 845 now and i cant seem to actually heal people
flash does very little at all, prayer is not visibly moving health bars
the normal heal seems to be entirely worthless

i was in halls of valor with a demon hunter tank and a rogue, monk and paladin and people just got constantly hit for half their health bar, the tank took especially much damage
like he went from 100 to almost dead a couple of times
hyrja was almost impossible to keep people alive
and then before we got to skovald i got randomly kicked without a word and when i asked i was told "the tank didn't like his screen being red all the time"

i don't know what i'm doing wrong

I'm running into some issues here with a new character and I have no idea why this is happening and how to prevent it from happening. Nor do I know what consequences this has for later on like if it'll fuck up something.

S2M is the most fun and powerful ability in the game but you need good stats, and more importantly good hands, to use it efficiently.

I remember wayyy back when WoW had only recently been announced. On their forums people were complaining about not being able to loot all of a players equipment off their corpse if you killed them.

Can you imagine what that would've been like? Just try to remember how many times you'd been killed in just world pvp, now imagine that every time that happened you lost ALL of your equipment.

How many of you would've kept playing after even the 10th time that happened? Would WoW have even survived to today?
