If you're seriously looking for advice, you're not getting enough DTs per Lunar Slash. You should be getting 6 + possibly one right after conflag ends that goes on CD. From just the DTs during the Lunar Slash conflag effect, you should have 30. Just on the opening alone after you phoenix wing + lunar slash you should get 7, followed by Blade Storm and another 12 followed by Lunar Slash again and another 7. There's more to that opening, but I'm just focusing on the DTs because that's the important part. That's 26 right there in about 14-15s. According to that log, you only used Lunar Slash 3 more times during the fight? The only reason to have so many flickers is if you're not getting enough DTs during Lunar to reduce the CD so you're forced to flicker x3 + DT a lot. Also, I don't see Blade Storm at all in your log, are you using that? That's a very important part of BMs damage during phoenix wing. I can message you on Discord if you want to talk about this more.

I don't know what you're doing wrong, i played BM until HM7 because it was a FOTM class and it was fun.
You do VXV->RB->Tab->(6xRB)->X->(12xRB)->RB->Tab->(6xRB) that's1+6+12+1+6 - 26 RB's And that's just from the top of my head. Then you reset with fire flicker in patterns of 3-> rb. That's 2 times, recover chi with raid 2 specced for focus recovery and you go for another tab into 6+1 dragontongues, then flicker 3/RB 2 times, raid, repeat tab. It's not rocket science.

Thinking about this pointed out that a large problem is that I have no idea what a bunch of these skill effects (conflagration, fulmination, fire dragon) even do. I think the only one I know is Deep Wound, since it shows up on the enemy when I hit them with it.

Heck, I don't even know if the F conflagration block thing reduces tab cooldown only on a successful block or not. I know I barely ever use that, so that could be a large part of the problem.

Either way it makes sense to make blade storm better but why change raid to the left side? You get more focus recovery but I don't really worry about focus management in PvE, and I've already got a bunch of skills that generate threat. I imagine the Honed Slash thing doesn't apply to dragontongue, and you lose out on deep wounds and increasing the duration of status effects. Is there something I'm missing?

you want anything that gives you the "Conflagration (Fire Dragon)" buff because that's what allows you to spam dragontongue.
So 3 points in Lunar Slash (left side) and 2 points in Blade Storm (left side), as well as 3 points in Violent Blade (right side) if you want.
Make sure your V is Phoenix Wing (right side)
Try to only take as much CC as you need in a dungeon.
If you don't need any, don't spec it.

Fulmination is for lightning. We can ignore that for now. Conflag is a buff that shows up on your bar. You can see the icon in the picture posted. Fire dragon is conflag as well. Blame NCSoft's awful QA team. The conflagration effect allows you to use DT without a cooldown during the duration of it. It also makes DT a 3m AoE, and gives it more damage. When you use Lunar Slash, you get the conflag effect for 3s. You should be getting 2x DT per 1s of conflag. 6 DTs after Lunar Slash, 12 DTs after Blade Storm, 3-4 DTs after blocking with Violent Blade. It's not the block that reduces tab cooldown. DT itself lowers the cooldown of your tab by 1s each time it hits. I highly recommend reading your skills on BnS Tree. The in-game descriptions aren't very good. Just having very good knowledge of your skills and what they do should help a little. It's important to get as many DTs as possible during phoenix wing because during it, your DT does increased damage. This stacks with the damage boost from the conflag effect as well. Blade Storm's 6s conflag effect is vital for this.

I'm usually able to hold draw stance besides using HM block because my focus fills after a crit. That's why I was saying the increased focus from raid wasn't that important to me for PvE. Then again, if I was doing as many DTs as I should be maybe I'll need to actually manage my focus.

I've been same on everything except I've started leaning towards using Whirlwind/Ripple punch on most fights because it does more damage off a single Whirlwind cast than Tundra does and I rarely stay in FM stance long enough to get the refresh on Tundra casts. I used to use them more for focus recovery, but as I've gotten closer to 65% Crit rate I've ended up not needing it often.
