The CVLs are less often with only 1 out of 3 chances but you traverse less nodes and you only use 4 ships so it's more efficient. Also, less chance of getting exploded by battleships.

Also, they're changing the seal system so you don't have to have to hear "Shippai mero" ever again.

The new seal system will be divided between "Success" and "Great success". "Success" fills the exp bar of the seal and it will level up when its full while "Great success" levels it up immediately. What this means for us is that they're planning to make it cheaper on average so leveling seals will be more consistent and a lot less luck based.

The SPECIAL Luna coin daily is also up, 10k luna for 20 AP so its time to burn some pots if you're hurting for some coins. Like with the previous cookie daily, you'll definitely regret it if you miss this one.

I'd suggest rerolling for your favorite girl or if you want to reroll for someone that will make the game easier in the long run, aim for the red 4* Miyaka or the 4* blue Airi. 4* water Airi and 4* light Sakurako will be gone in like 12~ hours if I'm not mistaken so get on it if you want them.

Basically, daily active users, number of users that pay, and amount that they pay are all down for BGHS. I wonder how bad things are going to be by the time they have that real event in January, and if the anime will be affected. Anon, the final map of Douglas 1 was interesting one time, it was even a repeat of one of the previous stages. Tell me how many times you had to run that shit to complete Douglas' soul board. How long did the black Miko co-op maps take to finish? Those were just big rooms of HP sponge enemies that hit hard.
Granted, Shironeko does have some fun maps, like for tri-dollar and summer island. But in both games I'm finding I want the gameplay portion to be done with so I can get the rewards and use them toward my town/dorms or getting new cuties/outfits.

I would only want BGHS to have more complex gameplay if it came with very fulfilling rewards. The game is tedious enough as it is even with having certain cards that clear maps in seconds. I would hate to do as much grinding as you already have to do with stages that take longer to complete.

And really, a lot of the challenge comes from the ranking events which really puts your mind to the test to come up with a game plan and execute it.

Sure, there's other goals in all of them. Grind this event, clear that part of story mode. Get stronger to grind events and story faster.

But for me it's usually as a stepping stone to more rolls,and not the end goal itself.

So to me, BGHS doesn't seem like any more or less goal than usual.

A lot of games getting stronger doesn't increase your roll power much. Eventually you get stuck at a stage where you farm for more power to to do more farming to get more power. Unless there are constant ranking events, then it doesn't help. In BG, as much as I hate to say it, ranking events need more tantalizing rewards to encourage whaling. Ranking events are stupidly competitive, but they encourage whaling the most.

Kraken Kino felt weirdly hard compared to the other three due to having a lot of mob tentacles cockblocking fast and deadly pincers and throwing Paralysis around. Then again Bahl^ is a thing now and any Bow boss can go eat her dick now. The other three were kinda harmless for most decent teams. A luck team on their easy modes or a Negotiator on the harder ones will probably still make easy captures for recoding.

Any tips for grinding the diary event points? This seems like a lot of work for little reward. There must be some easier way to get it done than to repeating battles. Maybe giving items or training can be more efficient?

I gave 1000 votes to Sadone during 2x gift bonus. Looks like about 31 favorite presents to max someone out with the 2x. Otherwise I take someone to grind votes since that's relatively fast and gives okay exp.

Pure autofest, you can skip through the battles.

Gachas are pretty IAP-biased. As in, all the ones they advertise and put up for events are IAP only, for free we mainly just get R/SR tickets. You can get URs by gathering 15 fragments from events.

But you also get low-rarity event outfits for everyone easily enough. So getting stuff to dress up your girls (and boys) with is not difficult.

Yeah, ranking high for every event would be insane. The point rewards got better for the current event at least, but gameplay still boils down to "tap to proceed". I wouldn't recommend this unless you want something where you don't have to think much and have a gist of Japanese to read the stories, since those seem like one of the main draws.

Vainglory was alright but controls and UI felt clunky. I'm playing Mobile Legends right now which feels like dota more with intuitive controls.
