I don't know, I've never played a hunter. I try not to play the classes that I feel are ruining TBL; in my opinion that's Hunter, Dragoon, Kabbalist and Inquisitor. My understanding is that both of the skills (coursing, retrieve) do this and you can rotate the two of them for a very high or permanent uptime.

It's incredibly frustrating when they just choose to ignore Fade. Fade counters it sometimes, but the cooldown/uptime issue can't compete with how readily available coursing/retrieve are.

This is completely wrong though. The problem is that hunter2 are early circles. Absolutely nothing changes. You can take hunter2 early and you're still a cannon2/musket2 with scout in the end. You miss out on almost nothing. A build starting with A2 H2 Scout1 misses none of the important circles.

Most hunters I run into just 24/7 lock me down like that and go kill my teammate with their normal skills while I can't help.

I thought I read the appraisal result was RNG.
So your five hammer could end up with 6 slots or it could end up with 10.
This will probably end up another huge time sink where you craft multiple of your BiS weapon until you get the maximum appraisal result, then upgrade and transcend it.

Only a handful of us do that, as some of us enjoy grinding.

What I find helpful to staying ahead is doing kill counts for mobs around your level. That way you get straight xp (and silver I guess) as well as cards.

Also your next exp reset is at 186 so honestly just do dailies like >>159799895 suggested and it'll start getting easy again.

The question is, how do you get that upgraded gear? There's no viable ways to farm silver in game other than making a character that can AFK at bees for months.

The difference between a character with fully transcended gear, with maxed out gems, and maxed out cards is so massive that no new player could possibly hope to catch up without spending an insane amount of real money on gatchapon to make silver, and Kim is designing the latest LEVELING content around players with everything already maxed out.

I'm not going to spend thousands of real life dollars just to level up to rank 8 when the game's "end game" is a pile of dog shit. Even if the end game was fun, there's no way in hell it'd be worth hundreds of dollars in silver.

To be honest, library isn't actually that hard.

It has a DPS check and two bosses that can 1 shot you and have a fuck ton of health (but neither pose much of a threat due to being unable to hit you unless you're melee).

If you can do these solo, the rest of it's actually really fucking easy. Most of it's just killing crystals and waiting around.
