Pokke, much like other villages in the series, has a unique flavor to it (even if half of it is due to being a arctic village), the music is comfy and the giant black dragon sword is memorable.
The tower was very cool and elder dragons were actual threats back then, taking several repels to hunt. I'm sad they gimped them in 4th gen.
I also like the training school more than any other in the series, the arena match-ups were very creative and managed to teach you unique stuff about the combat mechanics.

Other than arguably HH I can't recall any weapon being particularly bad and they were a good fit for old-gen slower monsters. Can't argue since they improved most weapons in each consecutive iteration, but I can play perfectly going back to FU. The frustration comes only from broken hitboxes.

MHF1 was bad. MHFU is still good, recent entries being better don't make it bad automatically.
