My favorite boss is Asgore because of all the emotions around it but I think Undying is objectively the best from a gameplay point of view with Sans being a close second. Mettaton EX has the best sparing gimmick though

Favorite boss is Undyne in both forms because they're fun and I like DDR, I enjoy Sans'fight but it's a lot of trial and error

mettaton ex is my favorite boss because death by glamour is rad, yellow soul is best soul mode, and the number of different ways to play to raise ratings
ASGORE is the best of the 'final boss' themes, Undertale is the best theme overall, both are pretty much linked in my head because new home to asgore is just such a perfect sequence
sans is cool when he's not made the center of attention
toriel is just a shit asgore fight, i didn't get attached to her in the ruins and the way the game built asgore up as a monster then slowly as a nice guy and then the walk through new home evoked so many feelings
OF and Asriel are both shit final bosses mechanically, they're glorified cutscenes
i hate people trying to make sense of gaster because it defeats the point of him
papyrus is really cute
alphys is really cute and interesting but i can understand why some people would not like her
asgore himself feels kind of like a letdown besides his neutral suicide, he gets no real good character resolution otherwise even though they build him up through other characters so well and give him a really rad battle
flowey is a cute and a funny asshole, i wish more of his personality carried over onto asriel
i liked the dummy fight too, music and mechanics, it felt mechanically different from stuff up to then which was nice
lots of people like muffet's fight because it is good, it's a shame we don't get much on muffet's character
he came up when i opened it in september after not playing since february and it almost made me close it again, it's a really cool thing
agree, it's basically perfect in music and pacing and storytelling and feeling like an amazing bookend to your journey
