I would say buy it stand-alone. If you do it through steam you have to do your sub through steam, and have steam open every time you want to play. You'll also have to buy all the expansions through steam as well. if you are intersted in collector editions they will not work with a steam account.

Two exdeath is even better, it means you can chain all four meteors together.

There are few enemies in the game that can survive 4 meteors at max elemental chain, or 4 meteors reflected off a Carbunlce (6x damage).

At 6* he's alright. JP has him a lot stronger because of doublehand stacking, but he's still one of the best 3*->6*s.

You can chain things even if they're nonelemental. If you boost up the chain beforehand, you can chain them together just fine.

Thankfully you don't have the full delay between meteor casts, so it's still possible to pad out the middle enough to have it be contiguous.

I have all the mats needed to awaken Exdeath/Firion/Garland/Kefka/Vaan from the candy corn. I imagine that we'll get a Christmas event that will have us get the presents back for the mogking that will get us more stuff.

And thankfully all the other units I want that I don't have yet are before the IV banner dropped so I only need mats that were from the INT/ADV chamber. And thankfully I got Refia's mats when I still had the candy corn.

You're not getting how collosseum RNG works. If something will hit, it will always hit.

But if something won't hit, it never will. The seeds don't change based on the circumstances.

Reconfigure your party until it works again. Change hands, positions ...etc. All have an effect.

Rare ticket summons also give a free trust moogle? Characters are always summoned at their lowest star rating so you can't get a 4* in a rainbow crystal or a 3* in a gold crystal! They have like double the characters, and half of the characters we have can be awakened extra times on JP.

Really seems evil, the differences between JP and Global versions.

Also if you ever have the urge to stop being f2p, just watch some of those 100+ summon vids. Guy spent 60k lapis and got only one 5* and it was Medius...
