I've been saying that from the start. You could also advance the whole Gotoro conflict with it (go really RF1 with the story), have new npcs show up and the town slowly expand during the years.
Maybe let you become mayor so you can choose what to build, who to allow in the town, stuff like that.
Let me also set up the couples myself so that I can create ones different than the "default" ones (for example Alex/Leah instead of Alex/Haley and Elliott/Leah) and we're game.

I really hope that modding gets that far, if CA doesn't add that in himself.
There was some guy a few threads ago that wanted to try his hand at it too, I think. But he couldn't get the Entoarox Framework to work iirc.

The other farm types were made to accentuate other skills besides farming, if all you care about is farming then there's no reason to use anything except the default farm layout. The others are actually kinda challenging because they put restrictions on your space and where you can build things, so you have to work around them.

You should be doing strawberries and cauliflower in your second year. Parsnips are a good standby because they are a good profit margin and also make an easy gift because 80% of the townspeople like them.

Gold pick. It gives you iridium ore, is why it requires so much investment.

Plant a little of everything in case a villager wants something for a quest, but focus on parsnips. Spam those fuckers. They grow fast and have a high profit margin despite their overall low value, and because you will be planting and harvesting so frequently your farming level will probably hit 6 before spring ends which is great because it will give you access to fertilizers and early artisan buildings.

Be mindful that you will need a wide variety of crops in year one to complete bundles in the community center. The main thing to work on is the Quality Crops Bundle, for spring you need 5 gold-star parsnips. So level up that farming skill to get basic fertilizer crafting (you make it from sap) and you should have no problem getting 5 gold-star parsnips. Pay attention to what crops you need for the seasonal bundles.

It's Fall. How to allocate crops?

I have like 50 Beet seeds because I kept forgetting I already bought them. Need them for the Mr. Qi quest. I probably won't plant that many, just enough for the quest.

Black tiles are sprinklers, yellow tiles are corn from the previous Summer. I think I will expand lower. Just a general idea of what to plant would be appreciated. I have a ton of Preserve Jars if that helps.

I planted a little of everything, and gave myself a lot of Pumpkins to grow. Once the Pumpkins are harvested I'll replace them with cranberries.

Okay, I checked lists again and it seems Artichokes are the way to go - they grow fast (8 days) and give around 5,3 times more money then the sum invested. From the fields you have if you grow only artichokes and corn you already have you will earn 57600 gold pieces, while investing 10800.
Pumpkins are the second best crop and they give 76800 gold, while you have to invest 24000 gold into seeds.
Third one is cranberries, you need to put in 28800 for the seeds, but after whole season you will earn around 90000 gold pieces from all harvests.

All calculations are based on the idea that harvests will be starless and I gave only sums of money in and money out, you can calculate how much you gained from them.

I managed to get ahold of the Entoarox Framework source code (not sure if it's the latest stuff, and it's not even complete, but at least there's some comments along with the code).

First it wants you to specifiy the path to the XNB container. Usually these work with relative paths, so you work your way up from the binary unless otherwise specified. So if you wanted to load /Stardew Valley/Mods/horsecock.xnb you'd just specify /Mods/horsecock
The second path is the one within said xnb file, which are just containers just like zipfiles with subfolders. So you'd specify the path within said container as if it were its own harddrive https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb197848.aspx

Anyone else have a problem with the mouse cursor resetting position to some odd place? For me it's the lower right screen, but not completely at the bottom, just about the middle of the stamina bar, but the rightmost edge of the screen. It resets the cursor there after dialogues and inventory screens, but not always.
