Bloody Mary is the best, usually your win condition with Mary + Swipes/Wolves/Dire Bond from hand. Queen Vampire is more to buy time against aggro decks and it's a solid 6 PP. You'll also want a game finisher like Satan or Olivia since a lot of the time you'll need to contest the board with Mary.

You need to watch more for golds than leggos though. Dire Bond is a big one, Erinyes, Righteous Devil, Revelation, and Temptress Vampire.

The only thing I could think of is that I ran out of cards, but I had so few good plays that I was constantly stuck at 9 cards and could barely draw.

Blood Control doesn't require any legendaries, as Queen Vampire is good but optional and the Mary build is just as good as the normal 3x Temptress build. The deck is expensive not becuase of legends, but because almost half the deck is golds. Look for Dire Bond, Revelation, Righteous Devil, Vania, Diabolic Drain, Erinyes, and Temptress Vampire.

Let's say you have 8 mana. Bloody Mary + Dire Bond is 8 mana deal 6 to your opponent, draw 3 cards, heal for 6.

I looked up the cards to make sure I have everything straight. They only had a Pixie Paradise amulet and two Pixies on the field, and then they played Forest Achelon without its effect. But the match did go on longer than usual, so maybe I did run out of cards. The only thing I know for certain is that it was a black and red slash that killed me at 18HP.

Play a lot of arena and don't suck at it. I started about 5 weeks ago, and I am closing in on completing the majority of relevant decks in the game due to the packs+gold I got from Arena and all the free shit Cygames has thrown at me.

RNGesus will have good streaks and bad streaks. For example, I used literally 0 vials to work toward anything Blood-related, but I opened all 3 Vanias and 2 Vampiric Fortresses to get a bat aggro deck for free, and I also opened a shitload of control blood stuff if that ever becomes good (3 Erinyes, 2 Revelation, 3 Temptress Vampire, 3 Dire Bond, 1 Righteous Devil, 1 Bloody Mary, 1 Queen Vampire, 1 Soul Dealer). On the other hand, I've had multiple streaks of 20+ packs without any relevant golds or legendaries.

You just need to be patient and rack up the arena wins and daily missions.

Is the one time deal actually a good deal?

Does anyone else think crystals are overpriced? It should be like 100 or 120 crystals per $1, not 200 per $1. Doesn't feel worth it compared to how easy it is to make gold. Is it just to rake in the whale money?

Honestly, though, I haven't been having too much trouble with the difference. But then again, I'm playing Rune, and only usually evolve just to buff my hand. I never use it just to trade.
