For now, kind of. Is easy to learn, fast, fun...
Problem is, there is only ''casual game'', and everyone plays there. That leads to some very imbalanced matches.
If you are new to the game (just got you key) or don't invest much time, you are going to get rekt. Just like that. And not because ''muh p2w'', no, cause the reward system is actually pretty good, but because everyone you are facing already has a ton of battles on his back, has a competent deck and has no mercy.

I feel like once they release ranked battles and go open beta this will fix itself. Pro players focus on getting better while casual focus on having fun in the casual game mode.
Otherwise, is shit. People won't have fun cause some slav will kick his ass with a full Scoiatell deck.

Yeah, there is a matchmaking that sucks flaccid cock. It works like shit. You only have to take a look and you'll see that newcomers are forced to face better rivals. I'm a mediocre player, I think my w/l must be ~50/50 , and I have to face people that brag about a 90% win ratio, that brag about having 200 kegs opened so far, etc, etc.
I understand that is a closed beta, so the player pool is limited, but still, is weird as hell.
In any case, as said, I'm sure this will be fixed ''soon''.

I can add that it's a useful tool to force the enemy to use a lacerate against 2-strength units if he want's to avoid the spam as well. Frees me up to play other units without fear.

Skellige deck with a dimeritium bomb, svanrige and ermion, freya's priestesses (including the silver one), a decoy, and ciri - is a ton of fun.

Over-combining your hand with spies and re-gen cards lying around becomes a bit of a hassle tho.

Managed to out-last the 82 totalling trebuchets in the second round, even.

oh, pardon me then. and i do get that, and in principle i agree. it's more that if they both live the conclusion to her and anarietta's story is really rushed and poorly developed. i don't really mind the neutral and "bad" endings since they're more narratively coherent. then again, i thought the entire main story of b&w was rushed and poorly developed since the attack on the city, syanna is just another reflection of the larger issue.

So, I just finished The Witcher 1. Man, what a game, I'm so sad to quit it, the atmosphere, the music and characters were so good.

Congrats man and totally agreed, the atmosphere of W1 alone makes it worth playing it.

As for the mods, I'd suggest the ones that reduce or completely remove item weight (the inventory management in W2 is a real pain in the ass), potion and oil duration increase and better imported items.

And tips: make sure to invest in the roll skill asap since it makes life easier, sword skill tree is the safest bet to invest in, if you're planning to use alchemy a lot then I'd recommend getting level 2 catalysis skill. The learning curve can be difficult at first, but just keep at it, it gets much easier later on. Oh and just as a heads up, the game is meant to be played through twice, otherwise you won't get the full story (you get a choice at the end of chapter 1, so you can keep a save file for it).

Fuck off. Trebuchets are a pain the ass. The biggest one. Attact for 2 points every 2 turns and add +1 points for every trebuchet, making it hard to counter them with scorch. And I say this as a NR player. They need a nerf. Either you make them silver and 6 strength or you eliminate the +1 for trebuchet.

The healers in Northern realm can revive Silver cards with 3 Bronze cards and Nenneke( Silver ) + Shani.
Even the negative side ( not deciding which one she revives for the Bronze cards ) isnt overhelming negative.

I think they wouldn't be worse, they would be less attractive, as you couldn't copy them with Foltest and they would take half of your silver slots. Still powerful, cause the effect is strong, and so are the numbers, but you would't be able to use them as the core of your deck.

You have a point, although Skellige is build (partially) around the whole resurrection thing, so giving them the ability to bring silver cards at will would be problematic.

Hmmm, I do think is negative. You never know what's going to happen. Will it bring a trebuchet I need? Or the reaver scout I don't give a shit about?
They are useful when you only have one card in the graveyard, but as the number raises you start getting deeper and deeper into RNG territory, and that's not good at all. That's why Nenneke is a silver and takes a valuable silver slot.

For now, I wouldn't touch it. If they change Priscilla and the trebuchets, I'd leave the medics alone and see how it works.

Yeah, Priscilla can do some incredible things. She brings out Nenneke, and with her you bring a medic, and with the medic you bring a reaver scout, you use the scout on the medic, another medic appears and brings a trebuchet AND on the top of all that Priscilla brings the fucking second card wich is motherfucking Dandelion so you use commander's horn in the siege row and now you have a full fucking combo all in one card.

And that's not even crazy, that's the usual with that card. Also, this kind of things bug the shit out of the game, like pic related. Cards get stuck out of the game.

Debatable. They are all pretty well balanced. Scoiatel is good, but is hard to master and expensive to craft. Monsters is the opposite. NR has some cheesy tactics. Skellige is great, can fuck up the other 3 if left alone.

Barels. You can get cards as rewards. I got a waterhag, other people got Ciri, for example. But mainly, from kegs. They are easy to get, at least the first 2 of the day.

When should the DLC be finished? I'm level 30 and I just had the Battle of Kaer Morhen. From what I understand, the DLC gives you new mutations, armor, weapons, and a house. But it's all end game level, some of the quests being 40+ I believe. So aside from NG+, which I don't know if I'll do as this is a very long game, it seems like a bit of a tease.

Use bombs. Dimeritium bomb or some silver shit, I think it stops the regen. Also, using oils help.

Really you can do then in any order, or before you even finish the main story. But playing them in order can give you some additional dialogue options or sidequests that wouldn't otherwise be available.

How many epic cards do you think I'll get?
I say, 3 out of 10 kegs will have a epic card.
The other 7 will have just rare cards, BUT, i'll get 1 or 2 rare cards in the initial 4 cards.

Started playing The Witcher 3 after quite a break since I only okay FPS medium textures, and now I'm back at Kaer Morhen, about to help Lambert, Eskel and Yen.
I got the expansions a couple of days ago, and was wondering when was a good time to start 'em. Completely after the game (if that's possible), or sometime before?

In Mass Effect 3 they have the mission where you attack the Cerberus station which locks you into the last missions, where you're not able to screw around the galaxy anymore. Is it the same thing here, with a clear line of the run towards the ending?

Start Blood and Wine after the main game.

The last mission is kind of short, to be honest. But you can still go back to the world, and do all the side quests.

It seems like the game gets confused there, it says that both, the kids and the village is safe, when that is impossible. So it seems like a bug.
