And while I acknowledge that happens often, I also get double tank or actually cooperative teams a fair amount as well, saying it happens "every" time is a bit unfair.

I'm a high master/low gm and I exclusively get matched with other masters/gms and then the occasional d1. MMR is usually around 3.3k. No extreme outliers.

Chinks would have won by simply giving the last trib up.
They would've been cursed but Fnatic would've gotten 0 value out of it.

Top and mid have catapults, bot gets easily defended by Abathur and the rest of the team. All they had to do is stay around bosspit and delay.

20 was a huge powerspike for Fnatic and that trib location was shitty for chinks since Fnatic had position. They lost when they went for that fight altough I can see why they did it. They won pretty much all fights prior so it makes sense but in my opinion it's a clear mistake in shotcalling.

Delaying and waiting for the next safe tribute to get a curse wins. Abathur can pressure bottom and Fal needs to split off to defend top and bot already.

Cloud 9 had none of these problems when their roster won blizzcon last year. NA does have some very good players but they are usually hamstrung by being on a less than stellar team that will get roster swapped after one bad performance

Hopefully a lot of these issues get fixed with the changes to HGC in 2017

But Ragnaros makes a good case for future dragons. He's massive in the lore and Blizzard managed to integrate him into HotS. So I'd say we could actually get a proper dragon from Deathwing one day now.

Varian looks like a really cool idea but at the same time his skills and talents look so boring. It would've been nice if his basic skills got different properties depending on his spec.

So, for those who are interested in Varian's stats:

He has around 1780 base HP at lvl1. That's less than even Anub, slightly more than Rexxar, slightly less than Thrall
With Taunt (tank ult) taken, he jumps up to Diablo-without-stacks lvl of HP, a good bit more than standard warrior HP (so more than Muradin, ETC, Arthas, Johanna and others)

Both his assassin specs increase his AA dmg by around 75%

Adding that all up, it seems that before you choose spec (remind you, on lvl10) he is a hero with assassin tier HP but only around half of assassin dmg. So he's gonna either be shit before speccing or a monster after speccing (my bet on the first option)

How do we fix Hammer? She feels like the most underwhelming specialist right now, even worse than Murky. Her basic skills dont really do anything, I guess they are mainly supposed to help her survive, but they suck even at that. Shes slow and squishy as fuck, and sieging never feels rewarding it actually only puts a giant target on you telling the other team its the time to blow you the fuck out.

Makes me sad, shes one of my favorite heroes.
