I might have to try that since I'm trying to find something I like that works well and is as exciting as Dodoria Launcher, which I already use on my Fridge.

Super Kamehameha was getting the job done in the damage department, but wasn't exactly flashy. One-Handed Kamehameha ended up being disappointingly slow even when used in a combo. Dual Distructo Disc looks cool I remember from XV1, but wasn't very damaging and I don't really trust XV2 to actually track on attack like that.

You want to always have at least 1 Ki Bar at all times so you can Super Guard just in case.

Transform into whatever state you have, and then use Prepare to be Punished, it auto locks you onto a singular target (which isn't a problem in this mission), and then spam Destructo Disk, charge up when needed and using Prepare to be Punished as soon as it ends, make sure you are close enough. Use GoD's Anger when you can (it will whiff sometimes so be careful how you use it), and then just spam away.

When the Giant Ki Blast comes, get in it's face, but not enough to trigger the push-back and fire Final Kamehameha, 100% guarantee to send it back saving you valuable time, if you are further back it won't always send it back.

Make sure you revive people as Elder Kai's Z-Soul helps with revive time.

I did it yesterday after having massive problems with it, didn't have Beerus' boots, Elder Kai's Z-Soul and went with Maximum Charge over Super Guard. I had around 2 minutes to spare on the clock after everything was done. Though i did get a bit lucky and only had to fight Towa since the AI dealt with the rest of the random scrubs (M. Vegeta and Slug).

evil demon magic that affects the time scrolls themselves makes it a special case because plot reasons. it's implied that if left alone, mira and towas alterations would be applied to the "master" time line off which all others are branched. this was the case in xv1 anyway, in xv2 they're just focused on gathering energy to summon the demon realm. i dont know, future trunks' time shenanigans are convoluted enough without trying to apply noncanon video game fuckery to them

trunks doesn't make use of that same kind of magic, though, just the same type of time machine he used in Z. Thus alterations made by that version of trunks only affects that timeline, and you still have your own trunks standing around in the story lobby that didn't fuck with time.

with no magic involved, it's simply it's own self-contained timeline that isn't necessarily going to impact the main one, which is why you can choose to leave it alone. XV2 is a bit more forgiving, since every build pretty much "works".
Of course they did this by making your points mean a lot less. I think strike/super/basic attack are .8% per point, health is like 42/10000 for a health bar per point.
