grind strikes or PvP. do a single public event every day for 15 marks. do the dailies when you can. do all the quests you can. depending on how much time you put in, it shouldn't take you too long to get higher light

Strikes go up to 385 and rep packages go up to 390. That's probably the fastest way. You'll also have the chance to get skeleton keys and opening those chests goes up to 400, but you'll probably want to save those until you get to 390 because the pace from 390 to 400 is glacial at best. lol

i'm doing that right now buy arms legs chest first then buy the cloak from the speaker then buy the gun from Xur then the helmet from xur then 3 of coins from xur and special and heavy then buy a ghost

to get legendary marks do the daily crucible and do a public event every day make 2 extra characters, get them to level 4 and you can do public events on them too on earth of elders will give you the 30 marks from heroic strikes

if you have enough strange coins though buy a helmet and the arms from Xur
