Roll whatever faction you want. There will be guilds on both factions. Some of them will die, then new ones will form, then they'll probably die again too. Then some random autist who used to play with /wpsg/ and probably has a bad reputation as a leader will make a new guild and it will be flavour of the month, but then it will disband when people get tired of raidloggers and "cores" and shit like that. I've seen a lot of posts in various spots about blizzcon, and specifically people hopeful for a legacy announcement of some sort and clinging to various conspiracy theories.
Is that even really possible? I could be mis-remembering something, but being as they flat out said they'd have nothing to share at blizzcon, it seems like that would be that. Blizzard, as far as I remember, is pretty methodical as far as releasing information, and their development gears work notoriously slow. I can't think of a time when they've ever had a surprise announcement, especially on an issue as potentially polarizing as legacy (for their forums, at least).
