1) A bunch of awesome BB style trick weapons in a bundle waiting for you in firelink shrine, fun without being overpowered. Also gives you a special covenant item that changes your roll into a quickstep (fashion only, no extra iframes). No new area.
2) Lore-heavy new areas, numerous cool and challenging bosses, amazing level design but no equipment.
3) The last DLC is just one room with a covetous demon reskin. His boss weapon is a slightly stronger follower sabre. You get to enjoy the fanbase's reactions.

As an aussie, the weapon is literally worse than the ladle. The block frames literally cannot work on it because of the hit registration lag. You would have to attack them like, a second in advance, in which case, I'd rather just keep predictive time vortex parrying as I do now.

I consider this more a rating of how well the bosses resonate with the players rather than specific measures of quality. Everyone has their reasons for liking or disliking each boss, but if there's common enough praise or complaint it means something went right or wrong respectively. For instance, it doesn't matter how well designed or not Pinwheel actually was, because most players fought him well after he posed any sort of threat. He ranks poorly among the players regardless of his mechanics or aesthetics, because From failed to account for player progression.

Why tho? Suppose the host just dies because youve now run them out of resources and they die to the boss. You could still get rewards. Why dont they just let you hang around, give the boss some extra hp since you exist, and watch the host maybe get killed. If they survive, congratz, they arent shit, and you get sent home.
If theyre gonna make running to the boss fog unstoppable, they could at least let you stick around afterwards to see what happens.

You can tell between a good pyro and a shitter by how they incorporate the spells together with their playstyle. A shitter will only use them as one-trick ponies and abandon the spell/weapon all together if it doesn't work. A good pyro will use them during advantageous situations (fire surge against slow recovery, black serpent on the pillar cliff) and fluidly move on to the next spell, using the prior one as bait.

There should be something like that in general. Imagine if every boss arena was like Gaping Dragon's, where there was a venue where you could either watch the fight or provide ranged support to bosses. Every fight could be like that. Pyro and sorcerer builds would now become top tier griefers during invasions, just hiding until the fight starts to demolish you afterwards. Greatbows would now become really useful for builds that otherwise wouldnt be able to deal substantial damage at range. It could make PvE and invasion interacts so much more meaningful towards disrupting progression, like it should be.

I've started just running around until time out on any matches I get against casters.
