Future Saiyan gives an insane Ki recovery boost and basically allows you to keep using Ki based attacks during combos. Pair it up with Ki attacks that allow you to continue comboing your enemies and Saiyans having a much bigger damage input on Super and Ultimates and you can see why it's by some considered better than SSJ3.

Get all the time eggs from the time rifts, take them to SKoT and then complete the last part of the story. It's the best transformation if you want one that looks good imo, the transformation animation is the best and it has super fast ki regeneration. Of course, PU still blows any other transformation out of the water when it comes to stats.

Eternal Rivals is easy in XV2, you don't get juggled by constant ult spam and only one of them will engage you at a time. Ultimate Rivalry is harder, but I feel like the AI's teamwork is too weak for these quests to be hard. They could be nightmare mode if only they didn't work on the honor system, imagine SSGSS Goku and Vegeta both going at you Nutz gang style.

Is anyone else having problems getting a Z-Rank on this mission in particular?

I cant seem to get any higher then S. I have tried the following in a single mission

Well, here's silly looking thing. I'm a tall Chiaotzu.
I had resigned myself that it was going to look absurd.

It plays so fucking fun though. Zipping around, dancing and spinning and doing wacky flips kicks.
Also I swear that the drain grabs are so much easier to land in this game than XV1.
Tempted to put either only the stamina drain or both of the singular drains. As they take way more than the dual draining one.
Human combo strings are so much more satisfying than Saiyan ones holy crap.

Equip the Power Pole soul, activate Power Pole Pro and just go on the aggressive with your light attack, never from dash as they can dodge that one. If the standard stick flurry seems to disable their guard and if you get a string on them and connect with the pole extension it does gorilla damage. Just keep the pressure up, hold the balls back and let the CPU blast them back, and get lucky not being wiped by Freezers balls.

I did it first try with power pole, but it was almost a wipe on Freeza. When Janemba blasts you away just dispatch your opponent quickly, they have hardly any HP, then get back to the main room and hop back on your cloud to finish the job.

Question: is there any way of knowing if an ultimate blocks stamina breaks and what not?

Its for just about anything. Basic attacks are what you will be dealing most of your damage with in any race. Investing in more than one super skill is dumb because its inefficient. Investing in Ki and Stamina is dumb because you already get so much from a +5 bang, unless you really really want more ki or stamina. Investing in Ki as a Fridge or Female Saiyan might be ok because they deal nearly twice the amount of damage with Ki supers than every other race.

As for the NPCs, I think they do the fly around catchup dash move, since it evades almost all ultimate attacks but is still insanely reliable and doesn't take any difficult inputs

I'm not sure how to do it reliably but I think it's (on xbox) A+X + Move forward

Though I think heavy attack from dashing to them should work too, or ofcourse a normal guard break, but that's very slow and you have to be next to them already
