I had fun playing through the commonwealth campaign.
Not sure why but I never got into skirmish. Late tier units seemed a bit too dominant. Can't swarm them easily due to the small stacks.
The other campaign turned me off since I liked the previous games so honorable noble orcs didn't work for me.

Well, that's fairly normal, i'd be worried if they enjoyed forced manual labor. But, is it viable overall, or to much of a pain in the ass to manage?
>>
>>159193417
no I mean even your pops that aren't enslaved hate it, and yes, I've found it's too much of a pain to manage. You might be making a little bit more food and minerals but at the cost of global happiness which then lowers your energy and research output, plus the influence cost to manage is way too much.

>>159194870
what have you tried?
I had some good fun using the separate human races mod and making all ai other human nations that after we all were forced to leave earth due to whatever event, roamed the stars in different directions to settle elsewhere, fast forward a bit and we're back to fuck each other up again on a galactic scale
>>
So, I've heard some people say that Hyperspace Lanes have been nerfed. I've never used them -- I've been using Wormholes, but I'm getting tired of the micromanagement. Does this mean that Hyperspace Lanes aren't worth using, and I should switch over to Warp?
>>
>>159194870
Small galaxy for comfy and preventing end game lag if you get a war in heaven with maxed AI but no advanced starts.

Fanatic spiritualist xenophobe. Use the theocratic republic and laugh as domestic problems become something other people have to deal with while you purge their filthy unclean races from the galaxy.

I currently have a -782 relations modifier with humans because I purged some of their planets out of spite, most of the galaxy hates me for said purging, and my people live in an idyllic post scarcity utopia protected by the mightiest fleet in the galaxy.

>>159195580
Yes, hyperlanes used to have the advantage of being the only FTL you could engage in a systems gravity well, they nerfed that and now it's just shit slower warp that gets fucked in the ass by random choke points.
>>
>>159195354
Any Barbarian camp falls to a couple archers, and if they're that close, it's easy to get Archers in a defensive position near the city.

The answer to any early game aggression is always to just get more Archers. If you want to expand and horse archers are being cunts, you'll probably need a spearman or two, but if you can expand and therefore don't need production to bring out more archers, you're pretty much good to go anyway.
>>
As a general rule, should I go out of my way to get tech boosts, or just not worry about it?
>>
>>159196016
>but if you can expand and therefore don't need production to bring out more archers
that was a really fucking stupid sentence
>>
>>159196210
As a generall rule - it's stupid not to, unless you a rushing a tech for this or that reason. If you are playing on lover difficulties it's not mandatory, but higher you go more important it get,s
>>
>>159196210
You should plan around the ones you want. But pretty much everything you do will boost something, also, you can research things and stop at 60% to not waste the boost.

Some parts of the trees are literal dead-ends so you can ignore them completely.
>>
File: why cant i hold all them planets.jpg (501KB, 1920x1080px) Image search: [Google]
why cant i hold all them planets.jpg
501KB, 1920x1080px
So in my very first Stellaris game, all of a sudden (maybe after the research of some tech or some event) a bunch of habitable planets popped up in system that I had already surveyed, and the habitability of my own planets went up to 100% from 60.

This completely flew right past my head while I was busy with other stuff, so I was wondering:

What tech or event caused this?
>>
Covert Infiltration vs Technological Enlightenment on primitive civilizations? They appear to be Spiritualist and Militaristic, while I am Materialistic. Can I make them Materialistic?
>>
>>159196232
Just a misplaced comma and a repeated word, really
Or you could bracket it

"but if you can expand (and therefore don't need more production to bring out more archers) you're..."
>>
>>159195565
>300k

Did you add a zero in there or is your game just completely broken? Cus' it took me like 30-35k, max-upgraded lasers to kill it. It'll take a while, and it regenerates health, but you can definitely do it.
>>
>>159196656
Probably a mix of passive habitability increases and/or you have a new species in your empire that prefers those planets.
>>
>>159191414
I played two games to completion and I have no desire to play again until the game has been fixed, right now the AI is not just retarded but also insane, on top of that the UI is obnoxious and the game is hiding too much information from the player. Also Sumeria is OP. It's just hard to go from Civ v which is great, specially with mods, to Civ vi, which is not awful, it's just not great.

TLDR;
Wait until it's been patched.
>>
>>159195794
So I should use Warp, then, if I'm tired of dealing with Wormholes?
>>
>>159197263
Yep, hyperlanes are functionally identical to warp now except they have to follow extremely rigid paths. There's no upside to them anymore whatsoever.
>>
>>159193000
there's no longer 100% tolerance for alien slavery under certain governments and ethos?

>>159197379

>>159197959
they're both pretty bad
they both have an awful/non-existent diplomacy system
they both have garbage ai that can only beat you by having vast statistical boosts
they both have ai that forces you to spec military
they're both laughably easy to win singleplayer against the ai
civ6 is more polished though

>>159197432

6M plasma cruisers with a destroyer screen for PD for generic purposes, for fallen empires or unbidden you're better off using massed kinetic artillery due to heavy shield tank, add a MASSIVE PD screen vs the fallen empire because they fucking love strike craft or just add a hanger on your ships with fighters it it.
Your A slots should be exclusively shield regen modules and avoid XL slots, they sound cool but they're pretty undertuned right now and lose out to the multiple L slots that they replace.

It's just BE, it generates a jillion resources whatever you do.

Although in fairness most of the resources are complete shit. Because in BE you need tech to unlock stuff like "Algae gives +1 food". Unlike Civ, where floodplains-wheat is a bonanza from turn 1, in BE you need like 5 obscure technologies to soup those resources up to even being mildly useful.

So to an extent this "bonanza" of yours isn't really a bonanza, mechanically speaking. It just LOOKS like a bonanza because you're used to resources actually being worthwile.
>>
>>159203475
Warp is fine.

If you're materialist it's probably better to go wormhole since it's hard to get psi jump drives.

>>159203516
This is what I want from the game. Desolate wasteland planets that I slowly convert into a paradise.
>>
>>159203554
Also improvements have higher yields in BE iirc, and they replace the resources, so fairly often you're better off using a standard improvement over the resource.

Desert(not floodplains) is op though.

How does Beyond Earth compare to Alpha Centauri? I really, really liked how flavourful SMAC was, and how each faction had their own agenda and their own optimal playstyle. Deirdre's endgame was fungus and mindworms errywhere, while Yang turned the map into a giant, borehole-laden literal human hive and Zakharov was always good for bullying tech out of.

Is Beyond Earth a worthy successor, or is it just le civ5 in spaec :))
>>
Is it me or are there really no clear cut civs that have a strong science trait like Korea?

It's honestly pretty shitty. Not mechanically perse, but the balance is fucking terrible. Like four virtues into the industry tree energy (money) no longer matters. The only reason I am even playing it is because I want to play something future based and that's not ancient.

BE compares very unfavourably.
None of the factions have any personality, the game is horribly balanced, and the nonlinear tech web means there's no real sense of "eras" - unlike SMAC where you got real quantum leaps with Fusion Power, Genejack Factories, and Mag Tubes.

SMAC is better in every way other than graphics.

>>
>>159197542
It depends on what you're fighting.
Other Empires: Fucking whatever you want
Fallen Empires: Kinetics. Giga cannon's range is very good to start off the engagement.
Prethoryn: Plasma+Lances and plenty of flak for their strikecraft
Unbidden: Shit ton of Battleships with arc emitters. I used my fleet decked out with kinetics that just beat an awakened FE only to get stomped by the unbidden's evasion rate. My guns had 8-12% accuracy with kinetics, but arc emitters are guaranteed hits even if their damage is random. With 300k fleet power and around 125 battleships+screen fleet, it was able to take on 1 million power unbidden fleets.

Uplifted Presentients have a triat that gives them +20% happiness if they live in the empire that uplifted them.

Find earthbound presentients and add thrifty communal to them as you uplift them for the perfect energy workers.

If you find several Earthbound species you can add Very Strong to one as you uplift them for the perfect warriors.

It is important to not modify them after the intial uplifting, if you do that you lose happiness bonus.

Proles can be made into the perfect mineral workers with Industrious+Strong.

Intelligent+Natural Socioligists on Natural Intellectuals for the perfect society researches.

Intelligent+Natural X on any but proles makes them into very efficienct researches.

which civ game is the best?

>>159187760
I've spawned next to an isolationist FE once. They demanded I abandon a colony, which turned out to be my homeworld. Reloading an earlier save I chose the alternative, which is going to war and having your leader assassinated after they blow up every last one of your offworld assets.

In another game, I spawned slightly farther away from an isolationist awoken empire, that declared war on my federation mates. The second time this happened I Pussied out and became their thrall. This turned out to be a good thing because I had already expanded as big as I could get, and the Unbidden showed up shortly after. With all their forces tied up holding back the Unbidden, I got strong enough to eventually go to war with them and win my independence. Now I'm actually the third strongest empire in the game after the Unbidden, and another AE on the other side of the galaxy.

I put that game on hold however because I'm having trouble figuring out what to do next. I want to conquer my previous masters, gain their special economic buildings, and then use those to defeat the Unbidden, after which I will be able to muscle my way into reclaiming the quarter of the galaxy which they have scourged. But I'm a pacifist empire, and I have trouble keeping my economy afloat when I mobilize my fleet.

Any tips?

So how much tourism does any wonder give in Civ 6? I know it was big in 5 because most wonders didn't have an innate tourism output, but the way wonders culture applied was that culture from wonders themselves being turned to tourism with later buildings, but I don't see any buildings like that this time.

Do all wonders just have a blind value? I didn't see any so I tried a culture game focusing not so hard on wonders to try and go wide and get tourism through multiple cities and the Film Studios (playing as America) but Cleopatra on her other continent with 4 cities had double my tourism before the massive +100% boost of the film studios. I matched her after I built studips in all my cities, but if I was playing any other civ she would have double my tourism for going hard on wonders. Do you NEED to focus on wonders or not for culture victory? I thought just the essentials and a few extra for other benefits would help, but it looked like her small empire schooled me
>>
>>159212973
They give a bonus from the start, so yes getting some do wonders for your tourism. You should probably look at which ones are the most advantageous for you and focus on those, or try to quickly grab whatever you can by chopping woods and getting some wonder building policy in your government.
You can also go destroy Cleo's anus with your thick throbbing military and keep her cities to make sick culture gains while you're at it.

If you play with friends they can give you pointers. Civ isn't that hard to learn, many things are kept clear and simple, and it's turn based so you can think about your next move. Also I'm jelly you got best childhood friends. Or childhood friends. Just friends at all.

Is this really the most efficient way to play?
I hate how it looks and usually split it up into 3-5 equal fleets, used to surround the enemy. Sure it uses up more leaders but I'd like to think it's more efficient as the enemy can only swarm one fleet at a time while the others can support at range.

It's certainly more efficient to play split up when you're doing what I was doing *before* I took on the FE - that is, picking on people much smaller than me. I split my fleet up into 8 task forces, because for every war other than this one since 2400 1/8th of my fleet could take out an entire other empire.

But I think a hueg fleet is most effective if you're fighting someone of equal power.
Then again, I just got my teeth kicked in, so what do I know.
>>
>>159216781
Just isolate their individual 200k fleets and eliminate them. Also abuse their jump cooldown time for a free 10 days of damage (you should have jump drives by now to head them off)

It was suggested >>159216998 that I isolate their fleets.
So I built a flimsy snare station at the opposite end of the system to where they would naturally enter it from.
Their first fleet warped in on top of the snare station and immediatly ripped it to shreds, meaning it didn't affect the second and third fleets that blipped in seconds later. So with one fleet isolated on the opposite side of the system to the others, I could easily destroy it with my ambush, then run away, before their reinforcements could cross to the other side of the star.

New Civ VI player here with a question about religion.

I just lost in the mid-game to my complete surprise because America achieved a religious victory. It shouldn't have been surprising to me but as I'm learning all the other game mechanics I wasn't paying much attention to religion.

They converted all of my cities from Judaism to Shinto quite early on in the game, but it took them quite a lot longer to get abroad and convert the other players. During that time, is there anything I could have done to bring back my own religion? Or once all of your cities have been converted is there nothing I could have done?
>>
So my first game of Stellaris since Leviathan, I found a Stellarite devorer right next to my home planet.
How much times will it takes for me to kill it?
>>
>>159223372
1) Apostles can attack other religious units near your cities. Killing other religious units with god lightning reduces their influence on nearby cities and raises your own

2) Inquisitors are specifically defensive religious units that can "remove heresy" which reduces enemy influence and can also do religious combat against religious units, though they get a bonus mainly within your borders

If you are being pressured heavily by other civs in the religious department then you can declare war on them and start killing their religious units with your military units (just move them onto their tiles), its easy because your units will be able to kill as many as they can move in a turn. this will also lower that religions influence in nearby cities.

if your cities do start being converted then you can use an inquisitor to clear the opposing religions faith away.

the more religious units you can kill in that holy war the better since they'll increase in cost for them too. eventually you'll notice they'll appear far less often and you'll be safe from a religious defeat.

Religious victory is tough because of how hard the ai civs push religion.
>>
>>159223610
you have to recruit them in a city that's your religion. make sure you spread your religion to your own cities too.

Im the guy, who cried yesterday about being too weak fro Prince difficulty in V.

I dont want to repeat my mistakes in that map I showed you guys, so I started once again, this time with only 10 players, but Huge map as well, PerfectWorld script and "Historic speed" mod, that leaves production values at normal speed level, but elevates research costs to marathon level.

I guess this start is pretty okay? Also, should I, this time, research archery before writing? I mean, before, I tried to rush writing first. I already "found" mining in ruins.

I really dont want to screw up again ;_;

>Is the auto AI that bad or were my armies underequipped/levelled? If so, what do I do to buff them up?
Well we don't really know much about your units.
Or the enemy units.

There are buildings that give newly trained units extra ranks when you make them.
Like Shooting Range for archers.
>>
>>159232450

Probably both, but auto-combat pretty much makes everyone rush at each other. In order to stand a chance, especially during sieges, you have to carry on manual fights.

Or bring some powerful melee units.

I don't recognize all the units since I haven't played the expansions, but you have

1 hero, 11 units of varying scrub levels.

and you're attacking.
5 heroes.
2 of those insane land tanks and 5 Firstborn, 3 cannons, 6 scrubdwarves and 3 whatevers.

And they're in a city so you'll start the fight, they'll fire their landtanks and cannons from the wall and probably murder way too much of your army before you even get a chance to move.
I'm not sure you'd get through the walls.

Its not exactly true. Low tier units, when commanded properly and well trained, are deadly as well. Not to mention that due to flanking mechanisms, even low level units can be useful and deal real damage to high tier ones.

>>159234331
>I wanted to have somebody to escort settler that would appear soon.
You had your initial warrior for that and possible a scout.

Better to get two scouts up faster and hunt for ruints so you get an archerscout.

Also you should probably steal a worker from the city state.

Nope.
Stacks only go up to 6.
You can't swarm the larger tier units when they so quickly fill up the adjacent stacks.

Should I scrap this game? I'm likely to go to war with this empire on my northeast border, but with the way my hyperlanes are set up I have to go completely out of the way to get ships into his territory.
Also he's warp so war would really suck.
>>
>>159241462
you're first mistake was choosing hyperlanes
>>
>>159241059
I think i saw a shield building somewhere after researching some mil theory tech? I'm not sure, but those planets are like the random stuff you found around the galaxy, like the fortress and dragon's hoard i guess, i dont think you can get that level of shielding right away or ever.

I found one in my last game but i never asked the curator enclave about it
>>

planetary shield is just a fortification upgrade thats not worth wasting the slot on.

Shielded planets spawn randomly around. Good only for research afaik.

So what is your opinion on the 1.4 patch changes?

Precursor event chain only slightly less useless as it is now (last time I managed to get it done, i got whopping 250 influence a little bit of research) ....

Unbiddies finally not able to spawn bambillion fleets at will ...

why is the stellaris ethics system so half-assed?

why aren't ethics of an empire based on the ethics of leaders and governers or populations depending on government type?

If you can change government type, why can't you change ethic type?

why does your government type have literally no effect on gameplay other than minor buffs?

why can't military coups, forcible government changes, assassinations and economic changes effect your government system?

hey civ 6 is pretty good

>unpredictability

Wait for the DLC, 10.99 a pop
espionage dlc
ideological warfare dlc
economy dlc

If those kinds of things did happen, they wouldn't be based on something logical like unhappy populations or dissent or losing support from leaders, it'd be an arbitrary thing that happens every game.

Stellaris isn't terrible but you're expecting too much from it.
>>
>>159242207
Considering I had to go and find the administrative center of the precursors literally on the other side of the galaxy (needed to put down 5 wormhole stations just for that)... and I had to put down 2 frontiers just to keep the AI from scanning planets before me. And close borders. For that amount of hassle, I would expect at least a cool gaia world next to my capital. Or something more useful then half a tech at that point. Maybe I just got unlucky. Was the first time I managed to not get stuck on 5/6.
>>
>>159242137

Play Total War, or maybe Crusader Kings, fuck it, even Tropico

Those games have coups, assassinations, backstabbing, betrayal loyalty and power struggles.

In Stellaris you don't actually play as something approximate to the leader of the nation, you play as a disembodied guiding force which has no analogy to real life in any way.

You can have games that keep the player in control even after the leader dies and is replaced but still plays 'as the leader'. Stellaris doesn't have any internal gameplay outside of boosting happiness and clicking on shit.
>>
>>159241762
Nah they nerfed it to the ground, you can't engage hyperdrives inside gravity wells now so it's fucking useless.
>>
>>159242402
Dont forget the DLC adding other victory conditions then "play awful diplomacy for half the game" or "conquer all".

Seriously, where is the tech victory? And the ascension victory. 4X basics.

How long does it take for warmongler points to vanish in V, on marathon, in classical era?

Im that guy from >>159232638 and Bismarck started to rapidly spam settlers, so I first told him not to settle near my land and then started war, captured and razed one of his city that he made right in the middle of my zone and then he gave up and asked for peace, while giving em another of cities deep inside my territory, which I razed as well (otherwise I would have -12 happines with having both).

I just want to know, how long he will remain pissed off.

Luckily, nobody knows of me yet and when I met England, they werent mad either.
>>
>>159244367
Any reason for the Hyperlane nerf, any mods that return it to its original state?
>>
>>159243265

Victory conditions are hard to define in a game like Stellaris.

For instance, some of the most fun I've had in Stellaris is fighting a guerilla war against a larger empire with the support of a larger power where I won simply by using small rag-tag fleets to terrorize enemy systems, wipe out their mining networks while simply running away with superior thrusters when needed.

The problem is the game doesn't really leave much room for things like that because everything is so formulamatic.

Big dumb blob empires should actually have to deal with dissent, rebelling colonies and despotic/dictatorial empires should be under a serious threat of coup/betrayal in stressful times.
Conquest victories shouldn't require conquering everyone in the fucking universe, but simply dividing and crushing everyone until they're undisputed top dog with nobody to stand up to them.
Tech and spiritual victories would be nice for materialists/spiritualists. Something like an player-activated endgame crisis that results in victory if left unopposed.

Also for the record, the warscore system is fine as a general rule but the fact that empires can't just say 'fuck it' and go rouge, genocide enemies (but with quickly mounting debuffs) is boring and lame and makes wars predictable as fuck. Might even give an excuse for other empires to jump into a war against you to stop you being an evil fucker.

The Fallen Empire wars and the Crisis events are a good fucking start, but they're weak, simplistic and are solved by simply building more guns.
No technological solution to the AI crisis where you can reason with it or shut it down?
No ability to force the extradimensionals out of our dimension?
No ability to mind control or spread some kind of disease into the swarm.

I'm probably asking for way too much, but at the same time, Stellaris itself makes claims of grand scope but doesn't do a great job at filling in that scope.
>>
>>159245263
>>159243265
It would be really cool if spiritualist empires could "win" by Subliming.

Alternately, AI empires could sublime, causing their planets to suddenly become depopulated, possibly leaving behind a Fallen empire to defend them.

wormholes are superior for large empires that have a vast infrastructure and small empires with strong navies

warp is more flexible though, if you have a bunch of fleets and you like to expand and explore fast then it's better

also, wormholes are fucking terrible under certain circumstances, for instance if you're in a war where you can't compete in a straight up fight, the AI will start destroying your wormhole generators and then you're basically fucked because you can't even retaliate by wiping out their shit because you won't have wormhole stations in their borders.

Alright, so here's the deal. I'm Tundra Preference. If I'm not mistaken, the game makes sure there are at least 2 planets of that type nearby so you're not totally fucked at the start. I, however, found 4. I also see these people sitting here, though I haven't contacted them yet - that's because I want to take their Tundra worlds, as my hunch is that the extra 2 tundra worlds were spawned in for them. I already took one of them (a 19 size world), but there's a 12 one as well...

I'm leaning towards not taking it, since it's so tiny - there's not nearly as much of a power swing compared to taking a 19 world. Plus, it obviously takes up 1/5 of the systems i can control, and seeing as it's the only habitable world there, 12 tiles for 1/5 of my core limit is pretty bad.

Is this the right choice, or should I always seek to take away potential gains of an opponent?

>All this talk about Stellaris just when I'm getting into it

Neat.

This is my first game. I'm playing as a Technocracy, showing the opinions map mode so that it's easier to see the general picture so far.

How am I doing for my year? My income/fleets/techs etc
So far I've just been upgrading my Destroyers and Corvettes with the latest and greatest tech, and I've had zero issues mopping the floor with pirates and minor alien factions. in fact the northwestern tip of my blob used to be a few aliens I DoW'd.

Also, is my sector placement okay? I tried to leave my home planet + 4 core worlds and some stars at the center without a sector, and left 4 other sectors to manage the outer layers (the south bit below the green protectorate will absorb the southernmost right tip into the 4th sector, planning 5th to be at the top right

Subconsciouss Consensus.
So a lot of happiness to increase my output and intelligent.

Later on my physics researched eventually surpassed my society as I got my uplifted presentient irradiated intelligent+natural physicists species to colonize and develop a few worlds.

Also, how can I integrate the green protectorate in the picture? I enlightened them technologically because they had basically same ethics as me (Individualist, Fanatic Materialist) and agreed to free migration so we get along just dandy. I read somewhere that I can only integrate by transforming them into a vassal, but that can only happen when they get to 40% of my tech? But I can't sign research deals or give them tech so... is this going to be an impossible task?

Bonus question
When do you
>Technologically Enlighten
>Covert Infiltration (like I did to some ayy's at the very center-west of the blob)
>outright conquer?

>>159253905
>>159253914
Neat. And I did use 2 frontier stations very briefly in the early early game (one to the south and one to the northwest), but I quickly realized it was a mistake in this case so I deleted them and just came back with colony ships later. Also I took a border increasing tech.

And now since I have like 4 different species under my control (Humans, tropical-ayy's, artic-ayy's, water-ayy's + droids) I can colonize a variety of worlds, so this screenshot a bit after I did that

They have a research bonus because they're a protectorate.

As you go on your techs will cost more and they'll be more likely to catch up.
Imo it's not bad that they stay as a protectorate though since they give you extra influence.

In my last game I was specifically seeking out protectorates because I wanted more influence.

Any non xenophile can conquer primitive worlds, and it's piss easy to do so. Three assault armies is usually enough to steamroll their defenses. You don't even need to bring your navy. You do however have to spend influence.

>>159254597
Still more fun than Civ.
>>
>>159245852
GalCiv2 is really fun and has a surprising amount of depth. It's the only Civ game which allows for interesting non-violent gameplay. You can win via diplomacy. You can win via economy. You can mass produce ships and sell them to people who are in a war which you've instigated but do not participate in.

Plus, I think between all of the space 4x games, GalCiv2 does the best job at balancing planets, biomes, colonization, tiles and terraforming.

You lose out on 25% energy+minerals by having them in sectors so there's an argument to try to keep mineral/energy worlds in your core, while you remove research worlds.

As in, they built a frontier outpost and I want that land
Any option to ask them to give it up, or for my borders to push into theirs?

>>159254783
I mentioned this in an earlier thread, but the trick to get sectors rolling is to have zero/low taxes so they can build up their planets faster. Then in 10 years you can start raising the tax and you'll be making far more dosh then if you started out with max taxes.
The only disadvantage to this is you don't gain anything early, its about long term investment.
The alternate is of course to be making so much minerals and energy you can just dump 1000s of resources into a sector manually every few years.

That being said, your doing great for CURRENT YEAR. Arguably better then I can manage half the time. Good job.
Your fleets pretty small though, build/upgrade more spess stations.
>>
>>159255210
Damn good question, I fucking wish there was.
It'd be neat if when you run out of your own sock pile, say during a large late game war, then you start siphoning the stock pile of your sectors. Or is that how it already works? fucks me.

We do need an option to take that shit.

Kenetic artillery is god tier. It's even better than the X weapons because you can spam it more easily. A pair of them has a higher DPS than a Giga cannon. And if that's not enough, you can put them on destroyers.

I prefer to give my Cruisers and Battleships hangar cores for Amoebas and point defense, But I put Kinetic artillery on everything else that can hold it.

I also spam torpedo corvettes, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. Also, why can't destroyers mount Torpedoes?
