but not knowing is part of the fun did you miss a lot? having high/at least not empty stamina matters a lot in Morrowind, having low stamina makes you miss, makes your spells whiff, etc. also, skill level for your weapon/spell matters. if you're using a weapon you don't have much skill in you'll miss a lot.

honestly, i'd suggest taking the silt strider to Balmora and finding Caius Cosades like you were ordered, then follow his advice. join one of the guilds in Balmora and follow their quest lines for a bit, they're easy and you probably won't die. i'd say join the Fighter's Guild if you actually want to get more used to the combat. there are also a lot of skill trainers in Balmora, so you should be able to find someone to train you if you need it.

I agree that vascularity is ugly. I prefer the offseason bodybuilder look, where the musculature is more slab-like and less defined. I find the offseason look to be the good balance between definition and not looking like some kind of freakish living anatomy chart.

I already technically own it for PC, but since my PC is a toaster and I can only barely run the standard edition, I haven't really had a chance to play Skyrim to any decent extent in a long time.
