Serious question, will Atlus ever stop making "Navi" characters? It worked for P3 with Fuuka because she definitely wasn't suited to fight but there was no reason for Rise and Futaba to be navigators, they're capable enough to fight.
Navigators in itself don't even do much or aren't even really that useful, they don't even know weaknesses most of the time. So they're just there as a tradition now. What makes you unable to be navi AND a party member? Mitsuru, Teddie and Morgana could do it, so why have a -navi- only member?

Went back to grab the first bad ending. This one feels a lot worse in hindsight.

Sae calls off the interrogation after Joker confirms that the other party members are his comrades, since that means he's fulfilled your part of the deal with her for a lowered punishment. Before leaving, she admits that she thought you'd have more backbone, but that it seems she made too much of the rumors about him being one of the biggest culprits of the century.

Sae still meets Goro in the hallway, but she's not as suspicious of him (outside of still asking about his claims that there's a culprit other than the PT) and tells him that Joker confessed about his comrades. Goro says he'll have to try his best too, and that he can't leave without a parting gift to show for the visit (i.e. that he'll have to get something out of it too).

The jail scene is the same, except Goro doesn't reveal as much, and instead of reaching Justice rank 8 Joker notes in his thoughts that it feels like he failed to accomplish something important.

After the anime cutscene, the game cuts to the end of the usual game over sequence with Joker bleeding out on the floor in CG and people panicking about his seeming suicide. Then it cuts to him waking up in the Velvet Room in shock. Igor says he failed to finish his rehabilitation and that it seems like there was a miscalculation and the twins scold Joker.

Then Igor says the game has ended, and before long, destruction shall come, and tells Joker to spend his existence in his cell with his regrets.

Looks like once Joker's out of the game, Yaldabaoth rushes his plan's for the world's destruction and recreation, and Joker's consciousness gets to stick around for it in his Velvet Room cell.
