How the fuck do you stop carries. Please tell me what I can do? I understand that the later it goes the better they get.. but how do you prevent a game from going late? There are so many mechanics in place that make it so games can't end early. Tier 1 towers giving a fort and what not.

How to win the retard phase of the game (aka 30+ mins games)
1. Pick a hero with high burst damage (i.e. Sand King, Zeus, PA, Lion, Puck, etc.)
2. Gank the shit out of their carries and piss them off by putting sentries in their jungle/ancient camps
3. Once the supports are on their way to deward, gank them
4. Watch as the enemy team crumbles because they're blaming each other
This is how I usually win my games. I spam SK and harass the shit out of their safelane to tilt him then once I get Arcane's + Blink I roam into other lanes to piss off their carries. If the enemies are responsive, I farm jungle/lanes first until I get a Veil so I can nuke down the supports before/during teamfights.

Here you go, dudenstein, or future reference take this advice and you'll get the idea of how to build a position 2 CARRY Abaddon:
Start off with a ring of protection, two branches, some tangoes and a mana potion.
Your CARRY Abaddon is going to be a position 2 or even 3. You're never going to be a position 1, dude. Keep that in mind.
Build that basi ring next, get that fuckin' magic wand and some phase boots. Take that basi ring and turn it into a Vlads, and rush a fuckin' S&Y.
After this it depends how the game goes,you can just go a fuckin' basher and run to people and bash their fucking face if you're ballin' outta control and expect to finish early, or you can go Skadi into a AC.
If this goes really late, finish that fuckin' abyssal and after your skadi / heart + AC you can go MKB for the damage.
Max the shield first, 2 points into the passive, max the heal, finish the passive. Always max the ultimate whenever the chance.
If your team is fuckin' kuso ass shit, as they usually are, sometimes it's actually naice to build a aghanism instead of a skadi or heart and go for a AC after, because with the aghanism you can actually stop those shitters from dying.

This should deal physical damage instead, but it probably shouldnt pierce magic immunity (similar to echo stomp).

worst passive in the game not even close. literally ring of regen and a chain mail. provides no magic mitigation so the hero is forced to buy bkb at some point in the game. doesn't provide enough armor or regen to compensate for this fact either. doesn't actually make the hero tanky such as bristleback or tidehunter who have good passives and are also not required to buy bkb. realistically the hero ends up buying the same armor items that he would even without dragons blood, such as AC or shivas.
Needs a significant amount of skill points to even break even in terms of value but that means not skilling up your good spells (dragon tail and dragon form)

good, in fact its probably great. the ultimate defines the hero, so much that the hero is really nothing without it unfortunately. the later the game goes the more DK needs dragon form. late game the hero is dependant on the ultimate, DK can't ult= DK cant fight. The cooldown is 120 seconds so DK has to save this for an important fight and ulting at an inopportune time can be game losing. Not ideal for carrying aegis because no good time to ult while carrying it
