So I've already brought this up, but here is my plan for the remaining CK2 campaign: Release Greece as it's own kingdom/empire with my dynasty member on it's throne. Expand the borders of my Crusading states in Jerusalem to Syria or somewhere, and then release them when they are strong enough. I am thinking about keeping this campaign going, and if I do into EU4, it will need objectives, which is what I am unsure about. What should I try to do? Help my relatives expand into Persia? Try to colonize the new world from Iceland to Greenland to Canada? I have never really played a good campaign on EU4. Also if the Flag Anon wants to think about the potential flags of the two released kingdoms, German Greece won in a crusade and German Jerusalem won technically by my vassals in Sicily sound interesting, but maybe impossible.

There's a war where Novgorod is the Attacker and Livonian Order is the defender. Novgorod has strong allies (I.E Lithuania) who are also my allies.

If I vassalize Livonian order now, will I enter the war as a Defender? Additionally, is there any possibility that Novgorod could call in Lithuania against me?

Idea for EU4: Imperial Diets.

Every ~5 years, there is an imperial diet.
In a tab at the bottom next to the HRE tab, is the diets button for HRE members. It is similar to the Parliament tab in design and function. Each free city, elector and the emperor can submit an act that other members can vote to be passed; the modifiers influencing people to vote for these acts are things like relations, religion and diplomatic reputation. The one with the most votes wins.

Acts can include forcing white peace in wars, forcing religion on a member state, imperial reform (replacing the current system in the HRE tab), missions (ie "reclaim Venetia" where states bordering venice get a conquest CB for 5 years), monetary donations, forcing the emperor to resign, forcing states to release conquered land.

If an act is passed then the Emperor gets a diplomatic option to enforce it on the subject (if applicable, for example forcing peace), and if the subject says no than the emperor gets a CB on them. Normally they say yes.

Thoughts? I think it would be very interesting.

I played EU3, CK2 and Vic2, got bored of all of them. I recently bought EU4 on steam, because it was on sale and I pirated all DLCs.

It looks quite similar to EU3, but technology and trading seems to be really different. Can someone explain to me what changed?
