Rubberbanding is literally what made Singsing quit the game.

He stated multiple times when trying out LoL, Hots and even Strife: "shieeeeet, can't play this game, FUK MAN you can't snowball here, it's so boring".

On top of meta's farming cores he simply couldn't find his place in this game.

His favorite position was playmaking mid, he loved Rhasta mid and other various int heroes. Since Valvo fucked the game over and this went away from these picks, Sing could never adjust. He tried carries, offlanes, meta mids, but was never successful, because he didn't enjoyed that gameplay.

Hope all you shitlord rubberband defenders are happy, because you ruined this game.

This "increased accessibility" killed what made DOTA a real man's game and now all that's left is a hero farming simulator, as in a fucking LoL clone where Leddit literally dictates the balance and every shitstain loser is pandered by the spoon.

I have encountered several 3-5 player premade teams recently in ranked matchmaking. Even if I queue solo, there is chance of meeting premade teams. First of all, those games aren't balanced at all. At second, it sucks to be the 5th player, while other players are sitting in their teamspeak server and unable to communicate with you. I have been playing ranked only, because I got bored of one sided smurf-team stomps. Now it seems, they have ruined the ranked matchmaking as well. Could someone confirm this?

Hurricane Pike is so broken. If you thought Dragon Lance was broken then hohoho just wait until people start catching onto this item more. The Dragon Lance stat nerfs are not reflected on Hurricane Pike

Look at the stats and cost. Very comparable to SnY but gives more stats, and an arguably more reliable ability that can be used offensively or defensively. There is absolutely 0 reason not to get a Hurricane Pike on any ranged carry. You get cheap stats, you get free range, you get an absurd active that makes you insanely mobile.

I'm really hoping for a nerf on this thing. Whether it be -5 agility, -200 force range (when used on enemy), or -50 bonus attack speed on the active.

I don't know what needs to happen but this item is stupidly versatile and it won't be long until you see it on every single ranged core hero.

Start taking out his random elements. Normalize his fucking base damage, the gap between lowest and highest is dumb as fuck. Rebalanced/scale the stun so its not overpowered when you take away the random, RR ALWAYS brings the target next to CK instead of random point between. Maybe rework the crit since it will never be as good as Juggs and WK already got the meme gimmick crit.

CK's reduces armor by 5 for 8 seconds and does more damage than Juggs, but wouldn't be balanced when its not FUCKING TEN PERCENT CHANCE aka useless shit without illusion spam.

Elo Hell is a phenomenon - An outlaw hellion whom even other demons fear.
Oh wait, that was Elo Foulfell.
Anyway, Elo Hell is the phenomenon that has three parts to it:
1). Snowballing, which makes the game boring while losing.
2). Dota is a team-based game.
3). The fluctuations of True MMR.

1). Dota is a snowbally game. If you win, you get +25 MMR. If you lose, you just wasted 40 minutes of your life sitting there, unable to abandon, wishing you were doing something else.
This occurs because of the farm-based nature of the game. You kill one guy, you get a 400 gold advantage. With that advantage, you are more likely to kill that guy again, because you have 400 more gold's worth of items.
The counter to this is to pick a carry and farm. Don't defend. Don't fight. Just keep farming.

2). Dota is a team-based game. However, some heroes are more independent than others. Such heroes are known as carries. Pick one, and farm.
One of the things is farming.
The second is hitting a tower.
The third is getting Roshan (I never do that since I spam TB).
Surely three things are enough things to do?
3). This is the most important point. It is the point that validates the Elo Hell theory in the first place. The first two theories are simply explanations as to why this could affect the player experience so much.
The human brain is a machine that functions on glucose and water. It is notoriously unreliable, cannot output the same skill every single game, and can be affected by external circumstances.
Now, every single game is perfectly balanced, at least, for the point in MMR that they are at.
However, every single bit of skill matters.
Have a bad day? There goes your last-hitting power. Someone flamed you? There goes your ability to take in information from the minimap and use it critically. Someone threw a headset at your monitor, forcing you to replace it? There goes your farming speed.
All of these contributes to a player being complete trash.
