I don't think we're playing the same Aion. On my version of Aion (North America) you can find many players in the starting area. Shocked me because I thought the game was game dead too. I have one character and she's in the teens.

This was about..... one month ago when I test the game out. There was no leveling events or anything. However, Aion DID get a recent big patch, so maybe that's why.

- PvE for babies. Not a Con. This game is a great MMO starter kit for people new to the genre.
- Competitive PvP that is on the same tier as Smash Bro, meaning it's laughable when you compare it to real competitive games. But since we're talking MMOs it's a tier lower than Tera.
- No end game grinding so people hate it

In BnS, there lacks grinding and more focus on player vs player engagements. The entire is based around this, so don't expect a good ol' grindy PvE experience. There's dailies and such, but it doesn't compare to what other MMOs are capable of doing.

- Back to basic. The true MMO experience, catering to all types(see: battle system). Grinding, crafting, all the shit MMO have that will take you away from real life. Secondary Job Simulator.
- PvP will most likely be dead in this one because of the requirements. In BnS there is equalized PvP, so no one does open world PvP or PvP modes that aren't equalized. But in RevO it using the traditional PvE > PvP with PvP thrown in as a feature rather than the core aspects of the game, like BnS.

In RevO, Expect grinding, making multiple characters to do dailies and/or for crafting, taking a month or longer if you aim for best slot gear, reaching the level cap can take months even without a Fatigue System, Wars , the large scale battles, will most likely be dead after 6 months due to the player population decreasing.

After some time I look more into the game and found out that its open world much like WoW unlike BnS which has instances and loading times out the ass and that alone made me interested in playing it. not really, it's a pretty fast game and rewards you for doing spammy skills on low CDs. Because the way the combo meter works in this game you get rewarded for playing fast, not to mention the delays on dodging, You will get hit by shit even if you dodge.
