Always build BF Sword into a completed Zea item. Never buy IE first item it's terrible for your dps. Also you should be building Last Whisper into LDR pretty much every game as your 3rd complete item, maybe 4th if no ones really tanky but NEVER wait until your 5/6th to build it, it's too late at that point. Never build BotRK, it was nerfed so bad it's a garbage item. The only ADCs that should build it are Kog and Vayne.

Practice positioning. Learn how to harass properly. Also learn what adc's/supports counter Jinx and avoid picking her into those lanes, you're gonna have a bad time. Everything else I'll come with practice.

First thing is first - if you're brand-new to ADC than you're gonna feed.

It is the most difficult role in the game all-around. Though jungler is also difficult as you climb up the elo ladder albeit for different reasons.
CS means everything.
Everyone is always after your ass, trying to kill you.
If you can't get fed by mid-game then you'll likely become a dead weight to your team.
Positioning is extremely important.
Synergyzing and coordinating with your support is extremely important.
You will get ganked in laning phase many, many, MANY times.

to be in rocket form a lot. People will tell you to switch to minigun because it increases your dps, and while you should do that, rocket form is great when the entire enemy team is clumped together, or just because it's safer and more consistent and you being in rocket form zones the enemy.
When you switch to your rocket form from minigun form your first auto with the rocket uses the minigun stacks you had so a common way to trade in lane is to get minigun stacks then switch to your q for a quick auto.
Taking fervor gives you way more damage but take warlords into losing matchups like zyra where you need sustain
Your rockets do aoe damage that is equivalent to the damage done to the target you actually attack so think about autoing a minion to hit your lane opponent.
Taking e second is so great for cucking people like lucian or getting something out of a thresh hook so I really recommend you do it.
You'll see a lot of times the highest winrate glyphs on champion.gg will have like 3 or 4 glyphs of attack speed. For some reason having just a little bit more attack speed on jinx makes her feel so much better in lane for trading. I don't recommend you do this however and instead take a page like this instead. This is a popular korean adc page for carries like jinx especially because it gives you pretty good stats when you take the natural talent mastery.I think scaling mr is really good and if you're going against a bad support matchup like zyra you can take warlords and not have to worry about that bit of lack of mr.

I really like teamwork
So much so that jungle/adc/support are almost the only roles I play.
Recently I've been playing more support because it's teamwork from the first second!

I've rose two divisions in the last month or so with 2-3 games each night but now I've hit a wall.

Every game in Silver II seems like we win lane but then

>both mid and jungle roam bot for repeated 4 man ganks

Is there some kind of trick to not getting teammates like pic related every game or a way to not have every bit of good will towards teammates shrivel up and die because they're all just going to let you down eventually

Hit Diamond today after like 1.8k games ( I know, it's embarrassing, but this is my 2nd season playing so chill out.) I played Jungle./ Bot, but switched to Jungle/Mid because Supports in Plat and lower are awful. Here is the deal:

That was a long grueling mess of a game. It was punishing to slough through that shitfest. There were so many games in this tournament that was better than G3 of the finals. Hell G3 wasn't even the best game in the series, that was G4. INTZ, ALX, RNG and Rox gave much more exciting games.

My favourite game in e-sports history is Game 2 of the 2014 WCS Semi Finals between Life and Taeja. That game was a delight to watch.
