I've been asking for a chalice dungeon for DaS3 since launch, the dungeon delving fits thematically for the souls series so much more than the cthulhu/vanhelsing theme of BB.

No, you can still do stupid shit like quickstep through their R1's and hit them with a thrall axe. Greatswords are way better than before, but big ultras aren't that great. As someone who goofed around with a 38 poise greatclub (enough to take a 2h GS R1 or 1h GH R1), I'd say it was maybe slightly better than a greatsword against other greatswords, but worse against everything else than a greatsword. There'll be punish opportunities you can't fully capitalize on because you won't have enough endurance for two swings, and either way, you still need two stunlocks, same as a greatsword.

I can't quite remember, but +7 can invade up to +10 and down to +5, same as a +8 weapon. You need to be +6 or below to invade a +4 weapon user, and any level above +6 can invade people with slabbed weapons.

DLC was pretty nice to look at and was long enough and fun enough to be enjoyable. I liked the Champion fight but think that they should have made the moveset a bit different from Sif

Friede fight was ok but 3 phases was a little fucking uneccesary - was pretty difficult on my pure mage

Pretty sad i 2 shot both bosses though. Not a lot of challenge.

I don't have a fucking clue on the lore though. I'm guessing that the painting suffers a similar cycle to the real world in that it rots (like bro corvian tells you) and they burn it down so that none of the corruption comes into the next cycle (for the benefit of the new world unlike those fools outside - bro corvian) rather than clinging on like Gwyn (first sin?)

But then Freide and Ariandel were too pussy to burn it down so they set the Corvian Assasains on the normal corvians (it says something of the sort on the Crow weapon descriptions, and when the Assasains come for you, the corvians run in fear) and tried to prolong the world by having Ariandel whip himself to keep the flame going with blood?

Pretty mad we got 0 fucking info on Sulyhvan other than he was born there. So maybe he's a son of one of the Sable church members

Back when XBfags were the only ones with the DLC someone made a bunch of webms that made the axe look good but it apparently what he was doing only worked because the people he was fighting were shit.

Come to think of it, I haven't lost to a single DLC weapon yet despite running into plenty and I think it's just because people don't know how to use them because not enough e-celebs have made spoonfeeding videos.

About to do second playthrough after not playing since release. I did a retarded Pyro + Demon Fist + Dragon Form playthrough for my first, got oneshotted by bosses a lot.

Because I don't want to stick many points into physical stats. 1 point lets me use either of the straightswords I mentioned and so far crystal SS has done fine to get people to back off. Plus I guess I'm more comfortable with them and I like the 1H moveset better.

It has no duration, you have to cast it right when you get hit, and the followups are so slow people can literally hit you once in the stomp, once before the attack, and still have time to roll out

You can glass cannon sorcerer and have fun in 3v3s I guess. But I warn you that the PVE is absolute cancer and the build is a linear cookie cutter slog through the map.

You gotta wear the dumb crown, you gotta offhand candlestick, so on so forth. Even then spell variety is pretty shit. Your best choice for shit to land is flashsword/GS, but then we're right back to square one of just being an inferior quality.
