He missed the Lucio and the hook went into the doorway, the hook's hitbox is bigger than its model, it hits the very side of McCree's hitbox as he's standing in the doorway just barely out of sight and then it pulls him in.

The animation of the hook veers far to the left but that doesn't mean anything, it can veer all over the place depending on movement and correlation, it's just a fucking animation, it has nothing to do with the hook.

Rein's charge can be a bit annoying because sometimes it sends someone you get straight on flying. Other times it will magnet people into it.

Ghoul Ana if it's between those two. I know it's a Thriller reference but it's weak af.

On the flip side though ALL of Ana's costumes are GOAT so if you don't have Ghoul it's not like you'll be hurting for good alts.

It's not that they don't know how to aim, they just don't know the maps and counters well yet, so they're still horribly useless. I can almost gauge immediately whether we are going to win or lose based on the number of <100 on either team.

She is effective at short to medium range with her cannon.
It does not reach long range and it's very hard to track with in close combat. Anyone who can reliably deal damage at those ranges should be able to take her down.

- Snipers work against her
- Bastion melts her in seconds
- Pharah can be effective if she is careful about the beam range
- Reaper and tracer can easily bait out/break her bubble and take her down
- Rein can just pummel her to death
- Hog can outheal her cannon damage and burst her bubble/health in seconds
- A good Zen can take her down quickly

The trick is mostly just knowing when to shoot and when not to shoot. Don't give her free charge by doing trash damage to her, but take the opportunity to focus her down. She has the lowest HP of all tanks and dies quite quickly.

Yes, because sniping at rein`s shield whole match and ulting at useless moments is such a great achievement.

Hanzo is useless because he just snips kills from a far - he`s never on objective, nor cant really support players who push/defend it while his damage is easily negated/he himself disabled.

McRee can do everything Hanzo can and be actually useful. Hanzo is just easymode sniper for those who cant aim and want to slack at backlines - even Widow contributes more.

Not even just McCree. Hanzo's core goal is to take out slow characters. Except Reaper shreds tanks and is arguably the best DPS in the game while having other utility. Pharah is a tank buster as well as having the mobility to also be useful in nearly every situation.

Not main, but I play a lot of McCree. I have zero problems landing headshots on everyone who's bound to earth, even Pharah is a free kill because her flying patterns are slow and predictable, but Genji's direction changes all the time, and I have nowhere to train flicking or tracking up and down.

I'm not so sure that forced 50% exists but there definitely is a problem with ranked matchmaking. Especially when Blizzard does a blue post about the majority of the ranked player-base all being in diamond rank.


Sometimes it feels like forced 50% when you have that one teammate that's so fucking tilted that they pick Widowmaker with less than a 1 hour total playtime though.


I think it should be similar to CS:GO ranked, where players can actually earn rank, even if they're on the losing team as it puts more of an emphasis on your individual skill than relying on 5 other players that can be of vast different playtimes, skill levels and behaviour.

I forgot how much Winston's shield has but yeah its generally worth it to do that. Because the way McCree's ult works is that it just gradually adds more damage per dot as he stays in his form of high nooning (ex. the halloween brawl) so if he used it on lets say three people instantly after he got the dot, it would save at least two people before it broke the barrier and killed the third
