When you pass letter grade thresholds you can no longer rank down, meaning people with good decks/people who are good at the game climb ladder and stay there. This means that as you rank up, your dailies get harder and harder to complete permanently. This would be fine, except unranked matches you with opponents of the same rank, meaning you can't just fuck around in unranked with starting decks either. So if you're coasting through D Rank with a basic deck, once you get to C that basic deck might not be good enough anymore, and you'll hit a wall since you can't go back down.

Elana Haven is more expensive but not by too much, Lucifer is nice but not necessary.

I did play it, that's the thing.
I won like 2 games out of 10. Maybe I just played it wrong, but the problems I had were that your board just dies too easily and then you just kind of flounder and die. You don't have a very good curve, you don't have a 1 drop, you don't have any 3 drops, you don't have any good burst without evolving Levi, etc.

It's not really broken given that it costs 8 mana and does nothing the turn you play it, especially in such an aggressive meta where games rarely even go to turn 8.

It's pretty good vs slower decks though, especially given that you can pop it early with cooldown reduction cards on turn 9.

I find it similar to Face Dragon, where if they don't either ward or get rid of Forte the turn that I drop her, they die next turn.

it's a fucking garbage gimmick deck with no value that dedicates way too much space to a single combo that doesn't even win the game, and therefore gets stomped to shit by any fair deck (e.g. control), but it happens to shit on very specific lines that are popular in the most popular decks (aggro) and therefore gets fed a moderate amount of wins. Even then, it barely pulls a favorable matchup against (storm haven // secret paladin) because the power of curvestone is too strong
Also explains why nobody agrees with me that elana haven is pleb tier cancer shit, because nobody agreed with me that midrange patron is a stupid and bad deck with a stupid and bad matchup spread (except the tier whores but they barely count as people)

There's no good 1-mana follower for aggro rune unless you wanted to play Goblin.
Essentially you don't have very good early game despite being an aggro deck. No 1s or 3s, so your curve is shit. And no, snowmen don't count. It's hard to build up a strong early game presence and have it actually live. You do get good board presence later thanks to snowmen and connjure twosome, but by that point you haven't done much damage, and you neither have good late game board presence OR reach. Like 3 fucking demonic strikes is gonna be enough.
It just feels like a much shittier version of bat bloodcraft with a mild spell theme.

It's been surprisingly effective, even though there's not exactly any sort of analogue for it on any tierlists. The basic gameplan is to play aggro in the early game, then transition into a Bloody Mary combo playstyle if you haven't already won by turn 7. You have just enough sustain to be able to stay alive against most other aggro decks, and you have enough damage output to kill late-game decks before they really get rolling.

Your worst matchup is Elana Haven, since pretty much any aggressive deck gets turned into a brick vs them, and Storm Haven isn't super in your favor, although it's very possible to win if you're able to damage race them. Other than that though, you have pretty good odds against the rest of the meta, at least in my experience - Forest oftentimes can't kill you faster than you can kill them, and you can stall out DShift with ease since you're not obligated to play anything to the board for them to target until you're throwing large storm units like Imp Lancer.

If you wanna try something new for Blood, give this a shot - if you played the other blood decks before, you likely have all the cards this uses anyway.

I thought I saw some lists forego her in favor of Dungeon Crawl and Dance with Death but if she is ultra staple I'll definitely try to reform my opinion. I've played about 50 games so far with Tempo Elf and she has almost only helped me when I was ahead on board already and most 6~ drops/spells would've done the same thing more or less.

She's not a win more card is the thing. You're not ahead if you have 2 fairies in play and your opponent has, say, a 2 drop and a 3 drop, but Cynthia will help you a ton in that position. She's also just fine to play on her own since she has good stats for a 6 drop AND her evolve effect is akin to Floral Fencer's in that you can just evolve her on an empty board and it's a good play.

I have a netdecked Eila Bishop that I only play when my blood pressure is at dangerous levels from losing too much.
I enjoy playing my custom Midrange sword and OC donut steel ramp Dragon the most though.

Tempo Elf looks super fun to play but I don't have a single card for it.

I started recently and after some drafts, junk fixes and completing the story, I realized that Shadow's my favourite craft but the deck is really expensive and my pool for it is shit.
My pulls will make it cheaper to build Tempo Elf or Dimension Shift. Storm Haven and Banner Sword are of course, cheap enough for me to build even though I have nothing.

I do ultimately want to settle into Shadow, but would you recommend I build a competitive deck to start farming, or should I just start working on the deck I want even if it'll be a subpar version of a subpar deck? I have a lot of dust available, having only used them on bronze and silver cards to try playstyles but I can make way more progress on pretty much any build but Shadow.

if you don't have howls and cerberus, I wouldn't particularly recommend investing in aggro shadow; it isn't the same without a certain density of burn in the deck, and the only things that resemble replacements for cerb/howl are demonic strike and maybe something like soulhungry wraith. if you want to throw together a budget shadow deck and roll with it for dailies, go for it, but don't craft unless you're willing to craft it all

I didn't, and I had t1 deck within three weeks. Some people will say yes if you a) have no job b) have a lot of time and c) already want to play a class that is SUPER expensive although I think most hover around 30k-40k vials for t1 decks.

However, there are decks for less (like Aggro Sword and Storm Haven and maybe some Blood or Shadow lists) and it's really not too bad if you just accept an average amount of leggos between your packs, whatever that number is now.
