You should be heading past Djura's tower; it should lead you to a building with a huge, open area. Just head straight after passing the locked door and the ladder near the enemy hunter.

Online in Bloodborne works via level and location. Certain level ranges can co-op with each other, for example, level 98 can co-op as high 150 and as low as 47 (or around those numbers). It also depends on location, some locations are more active than others, just meaning some areas tend to have more players ringing their bells in them, at this point it's later areas as well as some bosses.

What you can also do is go into your options menu, System and Network, set it your matching regions to Worldwide so you can play with anyone in the world and/or set a password, people with that password will be the only people you can co-op with, you can remove it later.

Also, there's three bells - Beckoning Bell for summoning and Small Resonant Bell for getting summoned. The Sinister Bell is for invasions.

How the hell am I supposed to hit other plays with A call Beyond? I've been invading people for while in mensis and I never hit more than 100 with 56 Arcane

Arc scaling doesn't matter much especially with Cold Abyssals since those can get any pure physical weapon to S in Arcane. Ludwig's Holy Blade has the highest Arcane scaling iirc, but the one-handed sword is outclassed by saws due to low modifiers and no serration against beasts. Hunter Axe and Kirkhammer are good too. Just use any convertable weapon you can hold and stick to it.

The Abhorrent Beast is different from the Afflicted Beggar. The latter has the Beast rune which may explain why he isn't balls to the wall I'm going to eat those balls and walls insane with Beasthood.

On the subject of BSB, I like to think that the OY beasts are still trying to live their lives. Like the ones in the church still conducting a ceremony and stuff. It seems like a long time since OY was set on fire, yet there's a BSB crucified and other smaller beasts on fire, etc. Maybe the wolf beasts are doing it for whatever reason. Maybe as a replacement for burial, ceremony or remembering the hunt?

I love this game because there is so much room for speculation. If there is a god, we'll get another DLC.

way I see it, in many respects the Moon Presence is basically an Anti-Great One, so it makes sense that Beasts are Anti-Kin in nature among the more potent breeds

You know, it just dawned on me, at the beginning of the game during the blood transfusion, the symbolic beast is burned away by fire and succeeded immediately by the appearance of Messengers. However, fire is a Pthumerian thing, that's their mark.

I think Queen Yharnam burned away our beasthood because she wanted to save her baby from being used as a lure for the Moon Presence. The 'contract' is made under Queen Yharnam.

Why do we kill her in Ihyll, though? We only see her in the Nightmare, at whatever the fuck Moonside Lake is and Mensis. The Yharnam we meet is in the Labyrinths, sealed away in the waking world, she's mad there like the other trapped Pthumerians (elder and descendant), like Micolash is dead in the waking world. Two versions co-existing.

As for why Hunters get trapped in the Hunter's Dream and freed by Gehrman, still stuck on that. Maybe it's the MP trying to stop someone fucking up the beckoning plan.

Just my interpretation, I've been trying to make sense of this for a while and the Moon Presence wanting kill Mergo just never made sense to me since it's a Great One and as such would yearn for a surrogate and we kill off Gehrman (possibly it's then-surrogate) and it gets mad. Some parts of this game still don't add up for me after all this time.

Pappy Gascan should have been there, that is an oversight, but we do get the ability to summon him in Yharnam. I always felt Simon was an Old Hunter and he's just there, he died with this curse on him at some point a long time back and he's just hanging around, surviving, trying to unlock the secrets of the Hunter's Nightmare. It has been theorized the MP is an adolescent in terms of Great Ones, and that explains its childish, jealous behavior. I don't think there is enough evidence for any conclusive explanation so this one is as good as any.

Well, I finally did it.

I blew 48 stones and a rock on a Cane, and put a nice set of Cold and Fire Abyssal gems in it.

And while it's flashy, and nice going full Roots on beasts, this fucking thing must have a negative stagger modifier on the tricked mode. Zero hit feedback makes it quite awkward.

Was actually getting better DPS on the untricked R1 combo on FRC BSB.

Oh well. Still pretty fun.

Are people actually sure that 5pwujscd drops 27.3% phys triangles? I've yet to see anything physical reach the top. Only the mage stuff reaches that high up.

It's 27.2%, and they do drop. Adepts can go up to 32.6% Blunt/Thrust but those are pretty rare.
